You are welcome to add me. My diary is shared with friends so you can see local brands :)

For me (and my cousins) it was more like an impending sense of doom. We were told to enjoying being slim while it lasted as our mothers were slim as children and teenagers - but that was all over after having children in their early twenties.

Contact this company on their Facebook page and see if they have a supplier near you - http://www.avalanchecoffee.co.nz/TheMenuSugarFree/tabid/102/Default.aspx Their sugar free hot chocolate is sweetened with stevia. It is great with milk and I drink it with hot water only on fasting days.

I would love the data sync button to be easier to find - even on the daily summary page. I want to be able to sync easily before adding new food and after adding food.

When reading articles is can be hard to get enough details about the studies they are summarising to be able to review them directly When writing about fasting often 5:2 fasting is interchangeably referred to with fasting windows (where all eating is on 8/6/4 hours if the day and the rest of the day is a 'fast'), or longer…

Hi Olivia, Could you have a locked thread that lists any reported bugs that have been fixed with the fix date? Even better if the list could have what you are working on before it is fixed. This thread has a lot of people posting so there is no easy way to see if the issue you want to report is "known" (i.e. reported a…

When I think of "American" food it is products with lots of corn sugar, frozen prepared foods, and hot dogs that are frankfurters in a bun. When I was growing up a 'proper' hot dog was a battered sausage on a stick or luncheon meat battered and deep fried. "American as apple pie" is a familiar saying, but we have apple pie…

I suggest taking a while transitioning from your old number to new number by 200-is calories extra every day or two. I am not sure if this is necessary but is helped me deal with the stress of increasing calories to a more sustainable level without affecting my progress. Good luck.

* No text on the Terms screen. * Missing "Frequent Foods". Went to Settings > General settings > "Show favourites for all meals" but selecting this seems to have no effect. * Recent food list is random even when ordered from most recent it shows items used once only months ago.

I have kinda picked up the C25 program again but I know what is not enough!

When increasing calories try increasing each day by 100-200 calories a day rather than jumping a huge amount all at once.

I would love to do some mild waist training. I find corsets psychologically comforting even if they are physically unconformable at times. I have two steel boned corsets - one under bust and one over-bust with a fabric halter neck. I like the fashion aspect but they can look costume-y and make a lot of costumes look like…

Actually - I did that as well. I finally went blond after thinking about it for years. I guess that means I am more willing to take actions on positive changes. I can make myself a priority even if it is just cosmetic things.

Thanks for the great posts. I know I am smiling more and bigger since getting my teeth done. I am looking forward to a shopping spree when I am at my goal weight,
-
My grandmother used to talk about the "pound of butter" which was 500 grams. Even though it is closer to dividing by 2.2, I divide pounds by 2 for a kg approximation.
-
How much are you setting the "to lose per week" value to? If you select 2 pounds a week you are likely to be hungry. I would select something suitable for most days erring on the low side (sounds like 'active' would suit you), then log your extra exercise so you can eat back those calories.

Calories in/out is working for me. Regular exercise is new and one of the key motivators for me (as I am not into long term goals) is being able to 'earn' a Almond Magnum to eat after my KFC meal. I am aware of nutrition on a theoretical level. Every now and then I try to incorporate fresh veges into my diet but it is…

Your opening post made sense to me - but I am Kiwi and new to this nutritional kick thing so maybe that is why. The colourful image above is really useful though it is based on US information. The % you see is the percentage of your daily intake for 1 serving of whatever if your daily intake is 8700 kj. The nasty trick is…

I am on a low dose of propranalol for migraine prevention (though a lot higher than yours). At a low does I would not expect any interaction with exercise. On higher doses you need to adjust your target heart rate goals for cardio as your heart rate will not get as high as normal. Please talk to your GP for specific advice…

I see you have found the NZ group. Welcome. Having Kiwi and Aussie friends can help with the food brands when looking for meal ideas from others.

I had similar difficulties when I started a plan of running with my other half. We then repeated the process when we tried jump rope at home. We both stopped exercising as each session ended in tears (mine). I knew he was trying to encourage me the only way that he knew how but our exercise styles were very different. At…

A small amount under the calorie goal like 200 calories are fine as long as your net calories are above 1200.
-
1 pound of fat takes up more room than 1 pound of muscle - or something like that.

Great work. It is good to see your motivation withstanding things not going according to plan.

Hi there. You are welcome to add me. I am a Kiwi. There are lots here!
-
Mine is open to friends. Most of my friends are Kiwis so I can check out food ideas with recognisable brands. Send a friend request if you like. I am doing 5:2 fasting and eat KFC at least once a week!

The 5:2 lifestyle is not primarily a weight loss tool (from watching the documentary. Not sure the angle of the book). (2000 * 5) + (600 * 2) = 11200 calories a week so an average of 1600 a day. Compare this MFPs daily and weekly targets if you were eating the same every day (or compare to your TDEE). Try exercising more.…

Wow! Great work.

Chanui Jasmine green tea is good. If you find it bitter you can add half a teaspoon of stevia or sugar.

I have experienced anxiety when exercising. I find it happened more when I first started, when I try new things, when I am pushing myself harder than I have before, and when I feel strain on my neck (which can trigger migraines). What worked for me was to attend group classes and trust the instructor to watch out for me…
