  • Pasta with cream sauce or cheese sauce and wine. and cookies I LOVE cookies, I love to bake them, I love to eat them....
  • The funny thing is sometimes when he doesn't get home until 8 -9 I no longer feel like eating! Like I missed my window of opportunity!
  • I have to get to work REALLY early becasue I car pool with my fiance, so I sleep every minute I can, throw on some clothes and go to work. So I dont' eat until I'm at work, usually about 7AM which is an hour and a half after I wake up. I can't imagine getting up any earlier to eat or being able to keep anything down at…
  • Worst thing about being fat? Looking in the mirror and wondering who the heck is looking back at me, I don't feel I can be me when I look like this.
  • I didn't know this!! Thanks for the info!
  • Thanks everyone, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who gets this!
  • I’m in Canada not the US but that's definitely worth checking out, thank you so much!
  • This may sound like a strange one but I loved Unbearable Lightness by Portia De'Rossi, it made me really think about how I view food and the control it has over me. Funny but I could see a lot of the way I think it what she wrote(when I lost weight in the past it was unhealthy, I'm an all or nothing sort of person). I…
  • I buy the real lemon juice instead of fresh lemons(easier to keep at work) and the nutritional info says it's 0 calories
  • hmmm for me it's becasue summers mean, drinks by the pool, BBQ, parties and birthdays! There is nothing I love more then to get home from work, sit outside with a nice glass of wine and enjoy the nice weatehr(I live in Canada the nice weather doesn't last long!)
  • Years ago I went to Wonderland with my family and I was waiting in line for Top Gun with my ex, I was checking out everyone that walked off trying to see if I could find anyone bigger then me. We waited in line for over an hour when it started to rain, I ran out of that line so fast and so happy I didn't have to find out…
  • I upped mine from 1200 to just under 1400 and it's worked well for me, I have days where I go a little over and days where I don't quite get them all in. I find our body's get to used to one thing and they stop losing, try going between 1200 - 1500 and I bet you'll see some results!
  • Wine, life is just more enjoyable with wine :-) That being said I went from a couple of glasses a day and more on weekends, to only having a few glasses everyother weekend and none at all during the week
  • DO it now, you be happy you did! I lost quite a bit 2 summers ago when I was SURE my bf was going to propose while we were away, when he didn't I was pretty upset and stupidly gained it all back plus more! Then when he did propose in January I felt horrible and huge, didn't want to get engagment photos, my wedding dress,…
  • The first time I lost some serious weight I started at 193, droped 50lbs to 143 and went to the doctor later that year and was 203, I litteraly started yelling at her that her scale was wrong. I swore I'd never go over 200lbs again, I prceeded to lose 60lbs the next time... Then went up to 213... I think you see the…
  • I got engaged, probably not the answer most want to hear but I just couldn't stand the thought of looking at my wedding pictures at 250lbs. or looking for a wedding dress, I actually put it off so long people would freak out when I told them I didn't have one yet.
  • Baby Daddy, I hate hate hate that term!
  • This is your parents! I think if anyone in the world you don't have to worry about offending it's them. Trust me I'm sure they want you to be healthy, I'm going to my parents for dinner this weekend and I'm bringing healthy snacks for before hand for everyone and a healthy desert, then I'll bring a chicken breast or…
  • I think that is the best NSV I've ever heard!
  • I wish I could do the not eating past 7pm thing but I don't get home from work until after that! I'm gone from 6:30 am to 7 PM, do you think that makes a big difference?
  • 3 liters off of each side, so like 3 bags of milk from each side! I was right at 200lbs when I got it done and I had no issues with it being approved my OHIP but I had what they consider true giaganticism(sp?), I had been that size since I was a preteen. I know that surgery is scary, very scary but you have to think about…
  • A month but that's because I was on pain killers and shouldn't drive on them!
  • I added my before and after pics from my reduction to my profile if anyone is interested, I'm in the same cilver shirt in both of them! As you can see I still have lots left :-)
  • I just wanted to add one more thing. I think the hardest part of it all for me wasn't the actual surgery (yes it was painful but that went away fairly quickly) but how I felt without my boobies (lol sorry!). Since I was 11 that's what people noticed me for and what I thought every guy liked about me, it was a REALLY hard…
  • I had a reduction 2.5 years ago, first let me say it was the best thing I have ever done in my entire life, I wish I had of done it way sooner! I went from a 38H to a 38 DD. But if you’re looking for actual advice on how recovery was I'm not going to sugar coat it because it was better off being prepared. I was sent home…
  • I took a quick peek and it seems your sodium is really high, you go over almost everyday. I find if I come even close to what it says I'm allowed for soduim I don't lose at all!
  • I had that this weekend, had my bachalorette and was feeling so good! Until I saw the pictures and since my friends and I started this health kick together and they had a A LOT less to lose then me, they are skinny now and I look even BIGGER next to them then I did before!
  • I read this week that epsomsalt baths help with gout!
  • Thank you so much for all the support! I guess it was just so shocking to look at them after I had felt so great :-( It's funny I was really happy with the ones from our tea early in the day(my profile pic is from this weekend at tea) but come the club pictures and I was devestated, it didn't help that all my friends have…
  • I do juice fasts once a month or so for 2 days ata time, I love it. I buy real juice made of actual fruit and veggie puree not some sugar ladden crap, I usually lose about 6lbs and gain 2 back. I don't really do it for the weight loss though, I have IBS and when I'm backed up it really helps me get back on track.
