  • Nobody else has a little(or big!) thing they can't wait for? Another thing I can't wait for is to be able to run, I have NEVER been able to run my whole life. In October I had a breast reduction, going form a 38H to a 38 DD, and a big part of the reason I did it was so that I could enjoy exercise and sports that I've never…

  • I just made this for dinner tonight, I no longer have taste buds but my boyfriend is in heaven!! WOW that was crazy spicey!!!!! But on the brightside my boyfriend has offered to do dishes for life if I make this for him again! It made a ton though, I'll be pulling it out of the freezer for months.
  • Make your meal an event! Pretty dishes, even put your water in a nice wine glass, savor every bite.... It takes 20 minutes for you to reilze your full, take your time and really enjoy what your eating:happy:
  • You know I'm on another board as well, and yes people can be all tough, but even there I dont' see the point. On a board like this we are here to encurage each other, support one another and yes pass along knowledge if we have it. But there is NEVER a need to make someone feel like they are doing a horrible thing to…

  • I just think that when someone is making an effort to make better choices and you tell them they are eating "chemical soup" it might deter them from making more changes. They might be tempeted to think oh forget it, I'll never be able to eat perfectly so why do I even bother. People on this jurney can be pretty sensitve…

  • I'm thinking of picking up a Hungry Girl Cook book tonight, do you think it's worth it? Is there more then one, if so which is the best?
  • Be happy I gained 7lbs over 10 days on vacation!! I think the key is jumping back on that scale the moment you get back and starting right back to the good habits you know will work:happy:
  • Peppermint Tea! When ever I have a craving I have a cup of peppermint tea, it's soothing and gets my mind off chocolate. Then at the end of the day if I have been good I let myself have a chocolate pudding cup or low fat brownie. I can last better all day if I know I'll be rewarded for it at the end of the day!
  • One coke in 12 days is fantastic if you've always had it everyday!!! Don't think about how you went wrong, think about how far you've come!
  • I'm all for everyone helping each other out with information, it's what makes this site so great! But when someoen is making a much healthier decision then before, eating something that is better for them, whether or not it's the perfect food shouldn't we be encuraging them instead of telling them what they are eating is…

  • Maybe I will take a walk through the park or something right before they serve dessert and it will be all gone when I get back  BUT, she is going to have strawberry cake, pound cake, and some other cake :ohwell: *sigh* this is going to be a struggle, but I CAN DO IT! [/quote] might I suggest you also make or bring…
  • So my goal will be 22.2 lbs I've lost 9 (was 14:sad: ) but by then I should fit back into my favorite jeans!!
  • Personally I go for my walk first thing in the morning that way if I dont' feel like it after work I don't feel as guilty and if I can force myself to do it then I get twice the workout! It may just be me but I figure, do it as soon as I can (morning) that way nothing gets in the way of me doing it!
  • Honestly? It's just gotten worse for me not better! LOL The longer I'm here the more addicted I am!
  • I just mesure out the amount of olive oil I use and log it as part of my meal.
  • Just do it! Litterally just log what you eat today, not hard you just have to DO IT! I was so scared after my vacation, to get on the scale, to come back on here and change my ticker to show I'd gained 7lbs pounds... but I figured I had to get over myself and do it now because the longer you wait the more unlikely you'll…

  • I find a fat free chocolate pudding cup does the trick for me!
  • Thanks for the info, I know it's a lot of sugar but with very few calories is it going to make a huge differnce in my efforts? If I count it in my calories?
  • ya but neo citron is yummy:happy:
  • a neo-citron is a medicated hot lemon drink for when you have a cold, knocks me right out and it's very soothing.
  • Thanks, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one feeling this way right now. It's funny I know I could take a pill and not have the same worries about the sugar but there is something so comforting about a cup of neo-citron....
