  • Hi! I'm a 43 yo busy mama of 4 boys and a nurse who gained the covid-19 (and then some) in 2020 due to all the stress of pandemic life and my job. I've now got about 50 pounds I want to lose, but more than that I really need to get healthy again, stop feeding my body with junk, move my body more and just find better ways…
  • It's wild to see the variations in weight wearing the same size! A good reminder that body shape plays such a role. I'm 5'4" currently 188 pounds and wearing size 16 pants. Interesting to note, I wear mostly medium shirts (with flow bottoms, because otherwise they ride up my hips) - clearly, I am very pear shaped!
  • 7926 so far, need to go do some laps around the house before bed!
  • Visiting hospice nurse, so decent amount of on my feet time and lifting patients, but lots of sedentary driving time too. I used to get way more activity when I was a floor nurse! Didn't sorry for 12+ hours straight
  • Getting ready fir bed: today's total 11,465!
  • Woke up this morning and consider rolling over and going back to sleep and then remember this challenge and hauled my butt out of bed to go for a walk before work I've got about 8000 steps so far and 7 hours left in my day so I will definitely hit the 10000 target woohoo
  • Me! 5'3.5" (yes, that half inch is important!) my goal is 35-40 pounds off
  • I'd love to join this challenge! I track using a fitbit charge, and average about 5-6k a day. I'm a hospice nurse, so lots of driving from visit to visit, but now that the weather is nice I'm committed to walking around the block before each patient visit!
  • I'm a newbie here :) Just graduated and passed NCLEX last month, started my first RN job (heck, my first ANY job in a looong time, I was a stay at home mama to 4 boys for 15 years!) I'm working in a skilled nursing facility that is literally 2 blocks from my house, so I'm excited that I'll be getting in some extra walking…
