I am a shift worker and I eat and sleep at all different hours of the day and eating in the middle of the night or daytime has never affected my weight loss in any way. You need the fuel to get through the Insanity workouts.

I agree with everyone else. I lay out my workout clothes, heart rate monitor, shoes, and put the specific DVD in for the following morning laid out the night before so when the alarm goes off at 5:30AM, there's less things to worry and make excuses for not doing the workout.

I have the FT4 and swim with it often because I train and do triathlons. I've never had a problem with it in the water. Just don't press the buttons like they say.
