Yes, I'm referring to those. :frown: Unfortunately, my budget, no matter how friendly the price may be, will not allow me to upgrade to pedals and shoes at this time. I'm just going to have to keep practicing.

I loved it. I had never been a runner my entire life until I started the program. I used the app on my smartphone. You can also find it on www.coolrunning.com. Each run, I found my confidence and love for running grow. I've been hooked ever since.

OK. Thanks guys! I'm going to keep trying. It's been less than a week so I'm not going to give up. The next time I ride though, I will probably go out to the country where there's little to no traffic. :noway:

I'm in Houston too! :drinker: This morning I did get my bike fitted, bought a helmet and some bike shorts. Very excited. Tomorrow I'll probably do my usual 6 mile morning run, but Saturday get a ride in and Sunday, I'll do some swimming.

I'm also on workouts 3 and 4 and my legs were/are so sore from the lunges and dead lifts :sad: , but I'm still enjoying the program. Excited about seeing the changes in my body. :flowerforyou:

Well, I decided not to do the two a days. Life is just to busy right now, so I'll continue the program the way it is described. I did Workout 2 this morning which focuses on the back. Again, I felt it was fairly easy and my heart rate stayed fairly low through out the entire workout. I have to leave tomorrow morning early…

I was on a birth control pill that was making me gain tons of weight. I hated it, plus my cycle became very irregular. I had my doctor switch me to another one that has made a world of difference.

I absolutely love this program. I used it in 2010 and from there on started running 5Ks, then 10Ks, and completed my first half marathon this past April. I'm training for a sprint triathlon now and another half marathon in November. I owe it all to Couch to 5K.
