21 here, too. :)

About 19.8% according to the caliper method (see profile pic)! Online measurement test results have ranged from 17% to 30%, so....
-
Naw, I agree with that. :)
-
That study was found to be flawed because it didn't account for the chronically ill, elderly, smokers, etc., who are thinner because they were already unhealthy.

I actually kinda love the galaxy print fatkini. I've got no problem with more plus size options (and maybe more options in smaller sizes, too?). General body positivity is great and shouldn't be conflated with HAES and the more extreme fat acceptance movement, which I definitely don't agree with.

Toasted Coconut is my favorite.

Profile pic! I gave birth 3 years ago. Dropped the weight quickly but it took longer for my stomach to settle down.

I'm 5'3" with a 28" inseam. I've never had to buy kid's jeans, but it's probably easier for skinny/short girls to find well fitting clothing than guys.
-
Naw. Not everyone can attain a size zero, and definitely not everyone should aim for that. At 5'3" I'm naturally a skinnyfat 0, but I think a lot of my taller friends would look ill at that size. All depends on the individual person and their build. I think there are way better goals to have than a particular size, anyway.

San Diego here. :)

Height: 5'3" Age/Gender: 21 year old female Highest weight- 120 post-pregnancy Current Weight- ~100 Current body fat - I don't know! Lowest weight- 89 Goal weight- My main goal is to put on muscle, so I don't really have one but it'll probably end up being higher than my CW.

If you can make yourself eat more, you'll start wanting to eat more. I felt like I was subsisting just fine on >500 cal a day and was never hungry, but then I decided I wanted to start lifting and gradually upped my calories to ~1700-2000. The first few days were hard to meet that goal and I felt way too full, but your…

Aww, thanks! That's super nice. I'm looking forward to seeing what changes weightlifting will bring to my body. :)
-
Hahah I'm about 100 right now! It's my natural weight so I don't think I've ever looked too skinny. Thanks. :3

I'm curious! 5'3". Pic is my profile pic.

Wear it! I think bikinis are more flattering on everyone, anyway.

Amazing back... :) My profile pic is not too conducive to this.

I'm a huge meat eater, but last year I did a vegan "trial run" for a couple months. It was definitely interesting. I became much more conscientious of food and the ingredients in them (it seems like almost everything has a meat or dairy product in them at first!) I also picked up some new meals and found foods I really…

Gender: Female Age: 21 Height: 5'3" SW: 96 CW: 100 GW: I don't have a goal weight; I'm just aiming to build muscle.

I'd love to add you guys. I'm currently majoring in Restaurant Management and plan to attend culinary school next year. I work at a hospital so I have a decent interest in Nutrition too!

Not a huge car fan, but definitely bikes! I ride a CBR F4i.

21 in San Diego here. I'm in the process of upping my calories and my ultimate goal is to put on muscle mass.
-
I'm going to assume the calories would be about the same. Foods just lose water when they're cooked which is why they shrink/ weigh less.
-
Will do! Thanks for the help. I'm thinking a protein shake or two every day will help me meet my caloric goals.
-
Good plan, I'll do that. NROLFW estimated my caloric needs somewhere around 1700-1900 depending on if it's a nonworkout day or a workout day, do you think I should eat at a surplus of that?
-
What I meant by that is that I'm thin, but not toned and have little muscle.
-
For sure. I've definitely gone through periods of eating whatever I want and not exercising and still won't top 100, so I know I'm naturally pretty thin but more muscle will put on some weight. I've been upping my calories for the past couple days and getting used to it.
