My daughter does this because she never eats the part she touches. She does the same thing with everything- she will eat Doritos and end up with a pile of the little corners she picked the chips up with lol.

I was a vegetarian for two years at the end of which my cholesterol and triglycerides ended up crazy high. (300+/1500+) It was the last thing in the world I was expecting because I thought I was eating healthy. I got put on cholesterol meds immediately but also went back to eating meat at the same time. Fast forward a half…

Awesome results you look like a completely different person.

My thoughts exactly- but maybe because my wife and I were both teenagers when we met so neither of us had any credit history good or bad.

I had a real Coke the other day just because I felt like having one- after about a year of drinking mostly water I thought it was going to be awesome but I was actually kind of underwhelmed. I guess thats a good thing- I drank it but it sure didn't leave me wanting more.

I do some weight lifting at home but mainly get outside and do some hiking, biking, and kayaking. I prefer anything I can do in the fresh air and sunshine.

This exactly. Or better yet when those posts begin by asking for only people who got good results with something to respond in the first place- then they get mad when people who got bad results chime in.

Being completely off all blood pressure and cholesterol medicine- 8 years ago my triglycerides were over 1500.

I would guess I ate around 4000 cals yesterday and again today. Yesterday I half *kitten* logged it and today I didn't even bother. It was nice seeing people I haven't seen in a year tell me how good I looked as I was stuffing my face.

^^ Should have been the title of this thread. I see your point- with both exercise and nutrition there are a lot of people in the forums who think their way is the only way.

I usually eat 2800-3200 calories. I do a lot of bike riding and even eating some extra snacks on big weekends I've seen my 'net' below 1200 plenty of times...even below zero a few times. Not positive but I really don't remember MFP ever telling me I didn't eat enough.

I would tell her to start by keeping a journal and writing down everything she eats and drinks for the entire month of January. Dont have her change anything just write it all down, and have her weigh herself on Jan 1st and Feb 1st. Then you can sit down with the information and come up with some recommendations. It will…

I have an RTM Tempo right now which I really enjoy- I think with the seat and paddle I have just over $1000 wrapped up in it. http://rtmkayaks.com/products/sit-on-top/tempo http://rtmkayaks.com/products/sit-on-top/midway I tested out both the RTM Midway and Tempo because they were both kind of a hybrid sit-on-top that…

My older daughter just turned 12 in October and so far we have not left her home alone- although at this point if an emergency came up then I think it would be fine for an hour or so. My 8 year old- not so much.

....and Chinese food. How did I forget about that?

I initially got a Polar FT7 just to track total calorie burn for long bike rides but the whole eat all your calories back thing didn't really work for me- I think with really high numbers it kind of skews the model. Now I use a Wahoo device that connects to my cycling GPS so I can keep an eye on my heart rate during the…

Pizza with everything on it. I still have it sometimes- but if it didn't matter I could eat it almost every night and finish off cold for breakfast the next morning.

Yep at work. I could be taking a nap at my desk right now or downstairs getting a donut.

Never have I ever been to New York City

I'm not much of a morning person either so I usually just work out in the afternoon or evening. I do however have to be at work waaaay earlier than I'd like to be- so for that I just put my alarm clock across the room so I'm not tempted to just turn it off and go right back to sleep.

I'd be curious to see your diary on the sodium- I can never seem to get it under 2500 and when I think I did I usually find it was just because someone put something in the database without it. Good job anyway.

I do that occasionally if I know I'm taking something to work for lunch the next day or if we have plans to eat at a specific restaurant and I know what I'm getting in advance. Usually though my pre-logging is just done the morning of- planning out my day. I've also been known to log dinner at the grocery store while…

I usually see more deer than people when I'm out riding- not really expecting that to change much in January. I do wish everyone starting out the new year right the best of luck- that was me last year.

I used to think that about my wife because she's thin, never works out, and she would eat as much a I did or even more at dinner. Then she would tell me she 'forgot' to eat breakfast and lunch- and I'm like seriously wtf- how does anyone just forget to eat a meal?

My daughter just turned twelve and she is right at 5'6- I thought she was fairly tall but last night we went to a dance/chorus performance at her school and I have to say there were a lot of 6th grade girls her height and many were taller.
