Split pea soup. Had like 60 carbs when I went to log it...after. :|

Find ways to exercise you actually enjoy.

So after taking a few years off I found something I can really enjoy riding again.

Don't be offended if she is a little antisocial around the date. Let your friend know you remember and that you are thinking about her- not just this year but in the future. The first anniversary of a horrible personal tragedy like that everyone remembers. In five or ten years most everyone elses memory has faded and…

Last year we just did tomatoes, peppers, and herbs all in containers. This year we added a 4'x12' raised bed to the mix and right now have several varieties of tomatoes, carrots, broccoli, broccoli raab, squash, lettuce, watermelon, cantaloupe, bell peppers, poblano peppers, jalapeño peppers, basil, oregano, cilantro,…

Google elevation training masks- I've never used one but have heard they are effective.

I thought I was a vegetarian for a few years a long time ago- In truth I was mainly eating a lot of carbs and not so many vegetables. I was defiantly under the impression at the time that I was being really healthy by eating all I wanted of whatever I wanted as long as it was non-meat but got a big wake up call when I got…

It's about as perfect as I am...which is to say not very

Trutein is awesome

We pay $75 for a 3-month prescription of Humalog- which actually lasts a good while longer since our Endo wrote it for 9 bottles every 90 days.

Looks like good exercise to me... http://on.aol.com/video/something-about-a-girl-and-her-hula-hoop-517489665

Not really- just pointing out that in general protein is 4 calories per gram so getting 103 grams over the course of the day is not that big of a deal. There are plenty of lean protein sources available depending on your eating preferences.
-
That's only 412 calories worth of protein.

It is pretty difficult to make physical gains if you have been eating at a deficit.

Yes. Keep in mind there is a difference between exercising and training. Exercising is just going out and doing the same routine however often you do it- if you run a mile at the same pace 3x per week and lift the same weights 3x per week your body will get fit enough to accomplish those tasks and that's about it. Training…

Good work. Did you get it tested somehow?

Hoping for better weather so I feel like doing some more outside type stuff.

The sugar is the same- it makes no difference to your body if it comes from fruit or candy. Fruit is better for you because of everything else in it. (Nutrients, vitamins, fiber, etc.)

You could probably be eating more- but certainly don't drop it. MFP along with any other online calculator is just an estimate- two months of real world results trum anything the Internet tells you. If anything I would probably add 100-150 for the next month and see what happened.

This. And also yes.

I used to feel weird about some things back when I would do the whole Complete-This-Enrty thing and post it on my wall because I felt like people were evaluating my food choices for the day. So I quit hitting the complete button for good or bad days. My diary is still open if anyone cares but I feel like not advertising it…

A few of these I agree with- but not too many. Then again my goal isn't to be "skinny." Edit to add nice of someone who makes his living off the diet industry to come up with a bunch of ridiculous rules nobody could follow for very long.

My doctor advised me to take Phentermine and eat 950 calories and <50 carbs- I was 6'3" and 322# at the time. I did it for about 3 months and lost 30 some pounds but felt like I was dying- today is actually 1 year since I quit that plan and learned the right way to do things on this site. Everyone wants fast results but…

I was on a couple different BP prescriptions up until a year or so ago- getting to a more normal weight and reducing sodium helped me tremendously. It will still creep up if I don't watch the sodium but not like before. My regular BP now is better than it was back when it was 'controlled' by the meds.

Yep- I had a DEXA scan done in January which said I have 190lbs of LBM- which is only 9lbs away from being "Overweight" according to BMI at my height. I'm not really interested in getting to 199 for that.

Where I lift- Where I ride- Where I paddle- Edit- resize pics

I usually order it from bodybuilding.com but had to get the shamrock flavor direct from Trutein. (I was a little disappointed with the shamrock flavor by the way- peanut butter cup is still #1 in my book)

^This is an insult to drug addicts everywhere. I sat with my father as he went through DT's with alcohol- I don't really see that happening too much with soda / diet soda.
-
Yep- I pre log all the time. It helps me hit my macros and save room for ice cream.
-
I also agree with this. I eat ice cream every night (well...probably not tonight thanks to Cheesecake Factory Oreo cheesecake I had at lunch...but most nights) but pop tarts don't do much for me- sorry. I can think of better ways to enjoy 200/400 left over calories. I will admit I did try the pop-tart ice cream sandwich…
