  • I lost 35 pounds on WW and have kept it off for a year and a half. I enjoyed the program. I did online only, so I didn't attend meetings. It was $20.00 a month and there are forums and friends and blogs and a great online community. Just like here but this is free. So I switched.

  • I would by a food scale. It is so easy to over estimate portions. It is a good idea to measure your food not necessarily yourself!!

  • Totally agree! I hate having to take off weight plates that people leave on. It happens all the time. Or the ones who move the bench over to the Smith machine and then leave it there for someone else to move. Or take off the handles to the cable machine and then you have to go on a scavenger hunt to locate them. URG! Good…
  • I remember talking to a friend about exercising regularly and she said..." Well, I find it sooo hard...I have a husband and two kids and a full time job..." Then she looked at me and said, " Oh...you do too, don't you?" No one said it was easy...it is hard to change habits and make good choices all the time. That is why I…

  • Well...I am not sure what fruit I am shaped like but I always thought that I was Weeble-shaped. You know...Weebles wobble but they don't fall down! haha! Very round in the middle...an apple, I guess! My weeble shape is definitely less now...thank goodness!
  • I have added some different exercises as a per-cursor to pull ups. Nerd fitness.com has a series of workouts that help you get to a pull up. So, I guess that is it although I would love to run in a Spartan Race. There is one close to where I live in June...it is a thought.
  • I log in every weekday and try to do get online on the weekends but I am not so great at that! My goal weight is 135. I'd love a new MFP friend! I'll send a request!
  • Since I love push ups...I will try this challenge...the real challenge will be doing them in my skirt at my office with 18 staff members! I may have to go hide out in the filing room to knock them off! haha!
  • That about sums it up!! Thanks for the good vibe today!! I will keep it up...you bet!!
  • Hey there! Would love to add a new friend! I have lost 35 pounds in the last year and looking to get rid of this last 10 pounds and lower my body fat % as well. Just started cleaning up my diet. Adding more whole grains, lean proteins, veggies...all that good stuff. Staying away from processed foods...so much for my Lean…

  • Love the NSV!! Congratulations! It is nice to see some reward for all the effort! Well done!
  • JUST PUT THE SHOES ON! It's been my mantra lately. I've found that if I can motivate myself to just get into my gym clothes, then I'm fine for a workout. I love it! I always say the hardest part about working out is getting out the door! PUT YOUR SHOES ON! Awesome!
  • You have taken the first step to a healthy lifestyle! Way to go!! If you don't have your health...what else do you got??! Good for you for making a change!
  • I think we have all been there before. I would tell myself those exact same things...tomorrow I will eat better, tomorrow I will exercise...tomorrow I will really do it this time. I think I just got sick of feeling so crappy. Hating how my clothes fit, having to by bigger and bigger sizes, not liking what I saw in the…
  • Hi there! Now, I don't know what it would feel like to want to loose 100 pounds. So I really don't know how you are truly feeling. I'm guessing you must seem totally overwhelmed by the thought of having to loose so. much. weight. All I can suggest is try not to think of it as loosing 100 pounds. Think of 5 pounds at a…
