It's a workout program. I tried it once and it's fairly intense. http://www.beachbody.com/p90x

Great! It's an awesome feeling when your clothes are suddenly too big.

Game 7!!! Go B's!!

Situps hurt my tailbone so I did 300 crunches. 50 regular, 50 right & 50 left obliques, 50 reverse, 50 crossover and 50 half curls.

Search the forums, there are several posts about it. And check back with your friends in six months or a year, I bet most of them gain it all back and then some.

I started at 262 and lost 6-7 pounds the first week also. It was mostly water and probably food if that Saturday was a typical day for you, but it's a loss! Enjoy your new and improved lifestyle!

Pretrial Officer...if you know what I do you either work for the government or spend a lot of time in the back of cop cars.

You didn't have fluffernutters growing up? You poor thing. It's a Marshmallow Fluff and peanut butter sandwich. It's heaven.
-
Probably less than a dollar. I usually have a fluffernutter or a protein shake and a piece of fruit.
-
Have you tried drinking water or other zero cal beverages? What about fresh fruits/veggies as a snack?
-
Started out with 19! I'm only going to do 50 though, as I'm already in a pushup challenge and that's how many I'm supposed to do today.

I'd love to know her reasoning behind that idea. Maybe you could ask her right before you fire her!

Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey and 100% Casein are both really good. (don't waste your money on the hydro whey)

Also...IB4TL.

I think it is possible if you are disciplined, especially if you are getting married at the end of July.
-
Essentially you take a hormone shot (that doesn't even do anything) and starve yourself half to death.

A lot of people do that. Round here we call 'em cheat days. Personally, I think it derails my whole week to throw nutrition out the window for an entire day. I will have cheat meal once in a while, though.

Based on what you've said I believe your net calories are too low. At that intake level your metabolism is going to be pretty slow as you aren't getting enough calories to properly fuel your body. I assume you are eating ~1200 cals and then burning off a bunch exercising? Start eating back what you burn working out, that…

I've found that it's usually best to just work through the soreness. Once you're over it you should be able to do the workout without it bothering you too much. If you're getting so sore that you can't even work out, you should look at doing something a little easier until you get accustomed to exercising.

I almost joined the army out of HS and my recruiter was going to work with me on getting into good enough shape. I think they understand that the average person is not in military shape. As for the ignorant haters, all you can do is ignore them and prove them wrong.

Let's go Bruins!!! The playoffs have been awesome this year. Couple of teams that I thought wouldn't have a chance are really competitive.
-
Welcome and good luck! MFP is a great community. Feel free to add me as well.
-
I'm working on a pushup challenge right now and they are a great exercise. I've only been doing it for a week and I already feel improvement in my arms and core.
-
"Challenge" accepted!
-
I did it! I jogged in place for 10 minutes so I could watch the Bruins but I got everything done. That kicked my butt pretty good!

Are you measuring any other parts of your body? it's quite possible that you lost inches somewhere else. If you want your waistline to shrink the only thing to do is keep eating at a deficit. You can't control where your body will burn the fat but it will happen eventually if you keep losing.

Sorry, I don't think there's an option for stone.

I used to have some protein, can't remember the brand, that would make me feel ill if I drank it on an empty stomach. Switched to Optimum Nutrition whey and haven't had the same problem. It could also have been the vitamin if you took that on an empty stomach.

You should probably try them all and see which one works the best for you. That's the only way to know if you're eating enough to keep you full until the next meal.
