  • Yum! I was craving a milkshake yesterday. I will have to try this!
  • I'm from good ole Spring, TX! Texas rocks!! :-)
  • Sounds great! I'm gonna try it!
  • I am bad at this! I like have ADD at work I start doing other things without even realize it. I'm planning my wedding so I often find myself with the wedding on my mine and looking up different things like decor, honeymoons, photographers. Today I wrote out the thank you cards for my Bridal Shower that was last weekend. I…
  • I buy flavored coffee and put in a table spoon of half and half, almond milk, or skim milk (depending on what I have). I also use ground cinnamon, torani sugar free syrups (walmart), or cool-whip free from time to time. For sweeteners I usually use sweet n low, but I've been trying to steer away from that so I've been…
  • That's great! I want to try this! Thanks for the inspiration~
  • Chocolate! How convenient would that be?!?
  • I got my free pastry! Just gonna work it into the cals today :-) It was part of my incentive to make in to 5:30 AM spin!
  • You are going to do great! My advice would be not to realy change up your routine. Eat what you normally eat pre race and run how you'd normally run during the week, and wear what you're used to running in. I would advise being well rested and making sure you get to the race with enough time to pick up your packet, figure…

  • I agree making the cut, if you like a written out plan with different exercises each day. 30 day shred if you want something to watch and follow.
  • I never eat the same things. Maybe I'll try this. I think it would make you crave things less if you already knew what you were eating.
  • I"m not sure about how to log the calories because I've never done either program, but I am wondering of these 2 programs which do you prefer? I've been considering doing one of them and have good things about both. What are the pros and cons of each?
  • OMG!! I'm having the same problem! My friend wants to make my wedding cake so she made me a huge full size wedding cake for practice on tuesday- and it is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I've had half the cake sitting in my house and I keep eating it! I took all but a small chunk to work with me the other day, so that my fiance…
  • I worked in a restaurant all throught college and now I still work a shift a week. It can be really hard not to snack on everything. Sometimes I will pack my dinner when I go in. I eat lunch around 1, have a snack around 3-4 and then eat my dinner I packed around 8 or 9 (or whenever we slow down). I drink A LOT of water…
  • Do you run? Running is what helped me get the most weight off and really start to get fit. If you don't you can start slowly with a walk run routine. Google couch to 5k.
  • Just recently I find myself looking at the weekends as a way to get back on track and do better. Because I'm stuck in an office 5 days a week, the weekends are my time to get outside and get active! I try to get in as much exercise as I can. This makes me want to make healthier food choices and then when I do over indulge…
  • I LOVE Jillian Michaels too!! I've done the Shred and I have the no trouble zones, but I've never heard of the making the cut. What is it? Cause I'd probably love to do it!
  • Wow! Thats a great idea!
  • I just recently started working for a water utility company. Everyone in my office is always complaining about how fat they are and how they can't stop eating the candy, chips and cokes that the office provides us with. I asked my manager who goes to the store to make the purchases for the office why she even keeps buying…
  • I think change is good! You can get alot of new ideas and a new prospective from a different trainer. Good luck to you!
  • To me, exercise is exercise. If thats the only time of day you have to do it then I say go for it. The only reason I'd say its "bad" is b/c it can keep you from being able to get to sleep sometimes.
  • My rule is that if I didn't go to the gym that day but I did some sort of physical activity like that I will log it but if I did go to the gym and I happened to clean or walk somewhere I dont add it in- if that makes sense.
  • 947 calories is a lot to work with. You could get chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and fill them with guacamole or pico de gallo. You could also get a fajita salad with chicken, guacamole and pico. Stay away from the cheese and limit yourself on chips and you should be fine! Also, if your worried about it, do your usual…
  • I agree a lot of "light" things are not good for you, but there are some things that are light that I enjoy- like some dressing and lite cool whip!
  • Last saturday right after my run I went to the grocery store to pick up some fruits and vegetables, and I saw the girl scouts set up and I was like OH NO!!! I knew I'd be buying cookies if they asked, b/c I used to be a girl scout, and I LOVE girl scout cookies. However, they didn't ask me if I wanted to buy any at all.…
  • Definitely Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred!
  • I "twist it up" by doing more than one level back to back. Ill do level 3 then 1, or 2 then 3, etc etc... I skip the cooldown in the first video then skip the warm up in the next and go straight into the circuits. Its really challenging and a great workout!!
  • My new years resolution was to run a marathon in 2010. Today I ran 16.75 mi and I am getting closer and closer to that goal a lot faster than I thought I would. Thanks for the encouragement.! Welcome to the site
  • For Valentines day we just had cut up strawberries and bananas in (light) whipped cream, and it was soooo sooo good!
