Hey, Lindsay! My sister lives in Lansing, too. :) I visit there often. Congrats on your baby boy. I'm hoping to adopt a rescue pup in the next few years when I'm done with school and home more often. I'd LOVE a large breed!

Those are wonderful goals and I love Rhiannon, too! Putting those healthy nutrients in your body will benefit you and your baby SO much!

That's amazing! I look forward to your insight and support as I have a lot to lose! Don't ever apologize for sharing about yourself!

Ozzie! Although, I'm in love with Jimmy Howard for punching Crosby. : P

Hey, girls! I'm Molly from Detroit. I'm 25 and will be celebrating my 26th birthday in August! I'm a single mom to the coolest 3 year old boy on the planet. I am the maid of honor in my best friend's wedding the first week of May. We are heading to Vegas. I started using MFP faithfully in January and have logged in for 80…

I don't think the CD I have contributes to me not eating bad foods but I do think it helps me relax which is huge for me because I tend to binge when stressed. In that sense, I think it helps with weight loss.

Oh, and my friend moved to Germany a few years ago and lost weight without trying. When she visits the US she always gets abdonminal pain because the food regulations are SO much better in Germany. She even noticed that when she eats at German McDondalds she doesn't get the "McDepression" and the "McStomach Ache" that…

I would totally join a sports club and we played badminton in gym class in school and I loved it! I always look for things to register my son for and my community does have a decent recreational program. But you're right, it gets expensive. He is 3 so my only option is to take him to another city for swimming or do the…

It happens. You can't change what happened yesterday but you can control what you put in your mouth for the rest of the week. We can't be perfect all the time so let that go and think about what happens from here on out. :)

I'm looking at her website and finding it hard to decide on which one, ha!

Did you start as a beginner? I used to be a runner but haven't in years. I wanted to get the 3 mile one but wanted to make sure it was ok for someone who is out of shape!

I'd love to get in a walk/jog but I'm a single mom so usually it has to be when my son is sleeping...and of course, it has to be inside my home, then. I think I'm gonna try it. Thanks!

Good for you! My sister in training for a half marathon to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. I might join her next year to honor a friend who is battling Lymphoma right now.

Yum!

I love the quote in your signature! You'll do great and feel better!

I got it about 2 years ago and the problem for me is that I don't really eat meat. I didn't trust myself then to tweak the recipes to make them meatless. I feel like I need a specific plan for awhile that tells me what to eat when.

I rarely eat bread but eat Thomas' Sandwich Thins, Light English Muffins, and Bagel Thins often. :) I also eat Tumaro's Tortillas in place of bread.

Subway always kills me on sodium but almost everywhere does. :( Bummer. Sometimes in this situation I'll go to my local 7-11 and they have containers of fresh fruit and raw veggies. I'll get that and maybe a banana or a small thing of milk and even a small bag of nuts.

I've been wondering about upping my calories for breakfast. I like to eat several small meals throughout the day so I don't know if that'd work in my calories. I suppose I could skip a morning snack after eating something like that.

Don't let anyone tell you that you "should" be over something by now! That's ridiculous, we all have feelings and emotions that are valid whether others agree with them or not. I experienced some life changing events over 3 years ago and still struggle with them from time to time...probably always will. You SHOULD feel…

Thank you, everyone! I can't wait to try these!

Try to eat half of what you normally would. Eat slowly and drink plenty of water. When you start to feel full stop. Maybe share a meal with someone instead of getting one. Then you can still get things you like that might not be the best choice but you're getting a normal portion.

Yum.

I did the same thing recently. I spent about 10 days eating whatever I wanted and not exercising. I was still logging in but not logging my food. I knew what I was doing but felt 'hungry". I did gain and am back down to where I was with one extra pound off. It's discouraging because I know if I had stayed on track then I'd…

I wear two sports bras, a tight tank top, and a tshirt over that.

I was watching the Biggest Loser a couple weeks ago when the cast went home for 2 weeks. They showed clips of Arthur, the biggest guy ever to be on the show, jogging down the street at home. I totally felt like a jerk for all the times I said I didn't want to run in public because I might jiggle too much or look like a…

I was told by a nutritionist that waters means zero calorie liquid. Tea, coffee, ice water, even diet pops or diet drinks (though, only in moderation, if at all, because they are artificially flavored).

That was HILARIOUS! I think it was the episode before this one but I was also cracking up when Dena asked "do I look embarrassing?" and he said, "only when you wake up".

You can use it any way you would use meat.
