I've always had an issue with carbs....since I don't like sweets - carbs are my downfall. However, I've just been really paying attention to those and to sodium lately and trying to get it under control. It's a struggle for me as well.

I can only think of 3 things that I'm pretty strict about.... I gave up fast food about a year and a half ago....don't miss it at all. Pop - empty, sugary calories are not needed, thank you. Recently, I've given up red meat and chicken.

I do love Amy's soups! - also Campbell's Healthy Choice has some soups that are vegitarian friendly and low sodium.

I am debating on trying them out as well. I would love to hear from others experiences. I'm not a gym person, I'd rather get outside. However, the weather has been crazy and is just an excuse not to work out. I'm trying to stay motivated, here. :)

I went walking last night - and it was 11degrees outside. I about died. My biggest issue was my thighs being so cold they were numb. These are great ideas and solutions that I can use. Thanks for the great info.

Same here. I walked/jogged 2 mini-marathons for the last 2 years, but every fall and winter I seem to loose my motivation and have to start all over again. I've gained 20lbs in about 6 months and repeat this each year. uggggg.
