I'm stuck, too! only 5-10 lbs from goal. However, my energy is amazing and I'm less focused on a number and more focused on training because I now enjoy it for other reasons than end results. :-) Best wishes to you and meeting your goals!

I love my Saucony Omni 10 (for mild-moderate pronators...they are also wide). I wouldn't know this unless I was professionally fitted. Go to a running store. Fleet Feet, Off 'n' Running, etc. Good luck! Once you get fitted, you can usually find the shoes cheaper on amazon. :-)

I'm with you! I hated it for so long!! Now I love it and am seriously addicted! I must run at least 4 days a week or I feel like a complete slob. My mental clarity improves and just my overall mood is amazing. :-) I think we get addicted to the competition (even with ourselves) and the endorphin release!

I usually run 4 days per week. Mon, Wed, Thur and Sat Usually my weekdays are short runs (no less than 3 miles, though) 3-5 is usually what I am for. Satudays are currently 8 mile days. I am trying to increase that to make the eventual 13.1! :-)

Count me in! 360 minutes per week! :-) Mon 60 minutes walking, 45 minutes running Tues 45 minutes Zumba Wed 85 minutes running, 60 minutes swimming (leisurely), 30 minutes walking Thurs Frid Sat Sun I guess I need to increase my goal (but not every week is this active). Let's say 420 minutes, instead!

AMEN! I just ran 5 miles about 10 minutes or so ago. 2 years ago, I could only do 2 minutes at a time!! Pat yourself on the back for continuing to be dedicated! p.s.-i absolutely hate pics of myself running, too!
