  • Cut out diet drinks and artificial sweeteners and started drinking water with lemon and tea. Also, limit carbs (pasta, rice, breads) and sweets. Save those for the weekends rather than having them every night. Dropped 10 pounds very quickly by doing this.
  • When I was on Ideal Protein, they had me eat a protein type drink, pudding, etc. before going to bed. I like to eat my last meal between 6-7 and try not to eat after that unless it is a light snack (almonds).

  • I save my baked potato for the weekend on my cheat day so I can add a few goodies to it. During the week, I have been adding a half of sweet potato and that has been nice. Potatoes aren't bad, it's all the extras that we put on them, but that's what makes them so good.
  • I use to have high blood pressure, but finally got off meds because I lost some weight. Need to keep dieting or they will put me back on them. Still on anxiety meds, but have cut down to 1 a day instead of 2. Getting healthy does help you get off some of those meds and you feel so much better.
