  • Welcome to IP newcomers. I took a month break from IP and just got back on it. I was able to maintain my weight by watching carbs, sugar, and logging everything into MFP. I am on day 3 and would love to lose 20 pounds before my cruise in 6 weeks. We can do it!

  • I weight in on Thursdays to get my weekly weight that I record, but I weigh in on Monday's to see if I gained over the weekend. That motivates me to watch what I eat all week and to workout extra hard to get it off if I gained.

  • Today I had leftover grilled pork steak, salad, and grilled vegetables (mushrooms, green peppers, onions, zuchinni, and squash). Yummy. Normally I have salad, grilled chicken, and brocolli or other vegetable. It helps to plan ahead so I am not tempted to go out to eat with my friends who usually have Mexican.

  • I am 5'2". When I was 189, I wore a size 16-18 (XL). When I was at 177, I wore a size 14-16 (L). Now at 150, I wear a size 10 (some 12 depending on style) and mediums. A lot depends on height and build.

  • When I hit 189 and thought how close that was to 200. I had to buy a size 18 and couldn't shop any where except Lane Bryant. I am now at 150 and still have a ways to go, but it feels great to be a size 10 for the first time in years.
