I wore one when I was about 9 years old and even back then I was way too chubby for it. Not sure why my mother allowed that lol. I just recently bought one this year to take before and after pics in. With a lot of work I may be able to actually rock it in public one day.

Awesome! I struggle with high cholesterol myself. Partially from family history and partially from poor diet. I recently brought my LDL down from 175 to 148. Still have a long way to go but progress is good. Keep up the good work.

My first acknowledgement of loss from a friend (who I hadn't seen in months) came when I was down 15 lbs. My boss (who I see 5 days a week) complimented me on my loss at about 20 lbs down but as someone else mentioned he knew I was trying to lose but I do still think it was a genuine compliment. Once I got down 25 lbs I…

Oh and how could I forget, I'm also doing Fab Ab February on top of my regular exercises as well (but I don't log it) . I'm going to adjust to crunches though, the sit up hurt my bottom.

Umm yeah I kinda hinted at how dead this group was in one of my posts too. Glad I'm not the only one that thins so. So here's what I've been doing to try to change things up. 1) Eating more & exercising less - Yup, you read right. I know it sounds crazy but it's working. Let me note that I'm eating more good stuff not more…

I saw it and it was great. But then I ate my way back into the 200's LOL. Not far into it though and I know it's mostly sodium so the water weight will drop back off. Won't beat myself up about it, just get back down.

I think it is so so unfair that they don't offer healthy food options in college dining halls. With all of the campaigns to fight childhood obesity you'd think they'd carry that over to early adulthood. If you can't get around eating it perhaps try asking for servings without gravy or ask for more veggies than the deep…

I've tried the Kashi but it's extremely hard and tears up the roof of my mouth. I have to let it sit in the yogurt for a while to soften up before I can eat it. I've been sticking with Special K Touch of Honey Low Fat Granola. I eat it with fat free or non fat greek yogurt.

Happy New Year! I've created a group called MFP DMV 2012 Calories Burned Challenge. Feel free to join it. We will post our goals for calories burned each Monday. Although it's Tuesday we can still post today and then start again on Monday, January 9.

I take that thing off as soon as I step foot in the door and I don't put it back on unless absolutely necessary. Sleepy doesn't = necessary. I let them breathe.
