Hi Lizz! I've been exactly where you are and know what you're feeling and going through. I know it seems overwhelming, but you can totally do this. Take it one day/choice at a time and remember you're in it for the long haul. You'll struggle, but just get up and continue the journey. You really do have the power to change…

I've logged every day since joining--I'm at 1022

I log everyday--anyone can add me. I'm pretty quiet, but consistent. I'm here for the long haul.

I've lost it all just by walking and eating less. At first I could barely walk a block or two, but I slowly increased it. Now I walk between 3-6 miles a day. I keep meaning to add in weight lifting or something else, but just haven't yet. Maybe this winter. As far as losing weight, you really just need to eat less. But to…

You can totally do this! Good Luck!

Eat much smaller portions of your favorite foods. If you're still hungry find low calorie snacks like vegetables to fill you up. Get moving a little bit if you aren't already. Try to do a little more each day. Good Luck!

I know that you can do this! Try not to get overwhelmed by the number and how long it will take to get there. Just work on losing 5 or 10 pounds at a time, then lose 5 more. You really can do it! If it takes 5 years, well the time will pass whether you're working on it or not. It really is worth the trouble and pain. Also,…

That's awesome! I know you can and will do it! Making it a habit is the key and by logging everyday you're doing it. Congrats on changing your life--you'll be amazed at how great you feel as the weight comes off. Happy Birthday!!

Well, you can ask for their support, but ultimately you just have to want to get healthy more than you want that snack. It's so hard, but in the end the reward of good health is worth the sacrifice. I had to tell myself that it doesn't matter what food is around or what other people eat, I am responsible for what goes in…

I started out where you are now--still have 30-35 pounds to go. I'm on the slow and steady plan and will be here for the long haul. Anyone can feel free to add me if they like--I'm pretty quiet, but log in everyday.

I'm looking to lose a total of 175-185. I'm getting closer to goal, but it's coming off slowly, so still a good year or two away. SW: 340+ (started MFP at 297) CW: 191.5 GW: 155-165 Anyone can friend me, I log everyday and will continue to forever...

*hugs* be kind to yourself, but don't give up. Really, you can do this--As long as you keep going. If you quit, you definitely won't get where you want to go. Good Luck!

Yay! That's awesome! I know that feeling!

You can totally do this! My #1 tip is to commit to the process and log in/log your food everyday. Plan your meals/day to make sure you can have a good balance of healthy foods and foods you enjoy. Eat enough so you don't feel deprived. Remember that it is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't be disheartened if your weight…

I got diagnosed with cancer, HBP, diabetes, and high cholesterol all in the same week (2.5 yrs ago). It scared the crap out of me and I realized that I didn't want to die. I also want to live as well as I can and try to avoid complications from diabetes if possible. It's been great motivation for me and I'm hoping the…

I'm only 5'9", but I log every day and am here for the long haul. Anyone can add me.

You've done such an amazing job, don't be so hard on yourself! I promise you, it's much smaller than it was, it's just hard for you to see it. It really does take time for the mind to catch up. Someday soon, you'll catch a glimpse of yourself and think, "Damn! I look good!" Really! Also, I know it's hard when you've worked…

You've done a great job so far! Congrats! I would say, just realize it's not a sprint--you need to find things that work for you over the long term. Good Luck--I know you can do this!

I had the same starting weight and you can totally do this! The weight is coming off pretty slow for me now, but I'm just plugging away. I'm here for the long haul and log everyday--anyone can add me.

I have a microwave popper from Target, but Amazon sells them too. They can be used with or without oil and work really great.

Mine have gotten a lot smaller, but I've actually gone up a cup size. I'm sure I was wearing too small bra, but so far I've gone from 44DDD to 38G (4D). I'm hoping since I have an inverted triangle body shape the boobs will eventually get smaller. I'd love to finish up about 36D or DD.

Hi, I'm diabetic and have lost just counting my carbs and limiting them to about 100-150/day. I try not to eat more than 30-35 at a time. My latest a1c was 5.3. Just remember all our bodies are different and react to carbs in different ways. I hope you find something that works for you. Good Luck!

I eat about 1500-1700 calories a day with about 150 g max carbs. I try not to have more than 30-35ish at one time, but I snack quite a bit too. My last a1c was 5.4 and I just got taken off Metformin today. My philosophy was to reduce my carbs a little and as long as it works, then to stick with it. It gives me some wiggle…
