The color of urine is the rule I go with. Some athletes drink 1 gallon of water a day to train themselves to hold less water so they can make weight. In the marines they made us drink lots of water, some people threw up the water but never saw anyone get water intoxicated.

Are the inches for BMI? When I enlisted they went off BMI or weight for your height and age. I never tried to lose inches in one place but I knew guys who would try to make there necks bigger to get within limit. Body fat percentage is another option. For me I would just run, alot, like 1 or 2 hours a day. You cant run too…

I have the same thing. My knees do ache some days but I don't have pain when I bend them just popping. For squats I'm thinking that reps vs weight would be easier on the joint.
