I encourage the guys in the gym to give yoga a try. I've "recruited" quite a few, and most have stuck with it.

If you don't completely rest it and ice it , it may only continue to get worse. I had it in my bicep. What I SHOULD have done was rest and get and MRI to see what was really going on. Instead I continued to train, and finally had a complete rupture of the distal biceps tendon. Surgery, then months of different casts and…

I go alone on the bike trail, but I'll only go during the day when there are lots of people that are using it. I keep a keep a knife strapped to my bike and I try to stay aware of my surroundings. Paranoid? You bet. Years ago I was attacked, in a nice quiet, supposed crime free area. You never know, and you never fully get…

I've always enjoyed having a (consistent) training partner, it really helps to have someone to give me that much needed spot and push me past my comfort zone. My current partner is awesome, and is also a member here. However, I've had some in the past, that weren't as dedicated, in which case I'd rather train alone.

Everyone wants immediate results. It doesn't happen that way. Have patience, stay dedicated, there is no short cut. Remember fitness is a lifelong achievement.

Hi , it's great to see all the riders here. Here's a quick story- For Xmas last year my BF wanted to get me Botox. I was kinda shocked, but I said ok , what the heck. While we were driving there I was wondering why we were going to Ocala, and not somewhere closer. He pulled into a beautiful equestrian center and surprised…
