This does sound good. I notice there's not graham cracker bed. Was that ommitted or is that on purpose? And forgive me for being new to the fourms but what does it mean when everyone keeps starting their reply with "Bump" or "Bump it?"

How has everyone been doing so far on their goals? I have been blogging my experience. I weighed in this morning and dropped 1.6lbs since Wednesday so I am not only on track for loosing 20lbs in 31 days, I am a little ahead! Feel free to share your progress!

Hi there WorkNProg3s, I think those are admirable ends to aspire to. If I may, allow me to encourage you in 2 areas. First, finding time to work out. Instead of allowing your hectic work schedule dictate whether or not you work out, you should give strong consideration to disciplining yourself to set a time to work out…

Oh wow, that's right there in your grasp girl!!

It is certainly a worthy goal! Let's do it together!

Interestinly enough, I've been using MFP for almost a year but only recently started getting into the community because I need people to help keep me accountable. So check your inbox for a request from me! I'd love to be your motivation partner :>)

I am having the same challenge. I have been watching my sugar grams like a hawk and I had cut fruit and yogurt out for a few weeks. Today I experimented and had fruit in breakfast and mid morning snack and went over. I have been making substitutions (like sprouted grain breads for whole wheats which many have added sugars)…

We sure can! That's still 20lbs closer to One-derland!

Girl, I remember what it used to taste like...it's like 0 calorie sweetener!! All the sweetness without the guilt :>) Welcome aboard!
-
Woo hoo! Welcome! Wow, so many of us who are "so close!"
-
OMG - this totally just happened to me today! I walked in the kitchen at work to heat up my oatmeal and there were two packs of pastries just waiting to be goarged on! But not by me! And I totally agree that it is a mental game. I play mind tricks with myself all the time just to make it through each day and do what I know…

I totally get you! For me, I try not to focus on this is the "last time" I start over because I might need to start over again at some point! I find it helpful to stay as present and as in the moment as possible with my healthy choices (eating right & exercising). If I don't have a "perfect" day, I just say, ok, tomorrow I…

Who said you didn't have any friends :>) Feel free to add me and I'll be happy to help with motivation...I just started a 31 day challenge to loose 20lbs and get under 200lbs so I certainly could use some motivation in return :>)

Yeah! Welcome aboard!

Ooooh, Insanity! That is like my holy grail of fitness right now! I am planning my workouts this month around increasing my cardio vascular fitness and stamena so I can build up to Insanity. I plan on purchasing it as my reward for hitting my goal at the end of the month. Right now, my thought process is if I can't stick…

I've been watching my sugar in take like a hawk too, lately and you have to watch out for some whole wheat breads and products because they could have added sugar. I like using sprouted grain breads (Ezekiel 4:9 by Food For Life is a great brand).

WOW! That's an awesome looking plate! Even if I stayed home everyday, I doubt I would have the energy to make such beautiful presentations. My breakfasts have to be portable and quick so I alternate between home made oatmeal (old fashioned oats, not the instant kind with hardly any fiber and tons of sugar! I make a big…

Wow, you're so CLOSE!!! We can do this, girl!! What's your plan to get there? I'm planning on making some tweaks to my diet, adding in a second workout 2-3 days a week (I already workout at least 6 days a week) and "sneaking" more activity in my day like taking the stairs when I can, walking at lunch, etc.
-
No worries, Bob and Jillian won't be there and they won't be putting you through a workout! It's like a weight loss motivational seminar and they'll be giving out free cook books and things like that.

I TOTALLY FEEL YOUR PAIN! I'm starting a 31-day challenge to loose 20lbs in the month of May...a tall order, I know! But the best thing to do is not to look at what you did wrong in the last month, but what you could be doing right in this month, and right now. You shed those 10lbs before, you already know how to do it…

Girl, you betta WORK! Work that scale, work that shirt, and work that hair! You look fab all around!
-
Wow! All this great "food" for thought LOL!
-
I typically prefer my salmon fresh, but I'm up for giving canned a try. What do you pair it with?
-
Hummm, never thought of the rice vinegar (never heard of it actually) but I'm all about sweet without the sugar. And the marinated veggies sound yum. Thanks for your suggestions!
-
Thanks for all the suggestions...I have some experimenting to do!
-
LOL! I do the same thing...have a bad food day and then not log it, as if it didn't happen...but the scale always tells me the truth :>)
-
KayteeB, I know the feeling and I know the actions from very personal experience...it's like you're doing so well and then one little indulgence releases the flood gates and you just can't stop eating. AND THEN...the INSANE guilt trip you put yourself on, leading you to more depression and more eating (cuz hey, I'm already…

You GO girl!! And keep on going! Your pictures/story is the exact motivation to keep going today. Thanks for being brave to share pictures.

Hey Benny! I'm from New York too (the city - Bronx & Westchester) but I live in Atlanta now. I can totally relate to the weight creeping up on you. I have been watching the Insanity infomercials forever and have decided to do the program. I'm going to be purchasing it in the next few weeks so good luck as you get…
