It all depends on the brand. I'm 5' 4.5" and 139lbs and I've got 4s, 6s, 8s and 10s and they all fit the same. It's very frustrating and it makes it hard to shop for pants.

Thanks for the reminder, I haven't lost much weight, but I can run a whole lot further than I ever thought I could. The number on the scale only tells part of the story. :smile:

I'm not a huge fan of eggs either, I usually make one of those atkins muffin in a minutes. Probably not strictly paleo, but it's flax, so at least it's not wheat. And snacking is fine! I think it puts 1200 for everyone who puts 2lb loss per week as their goal. Ignore that number, use the one you calculated. You can customize your goals yourself so your numbers are more accurate. According to my scale my body fat % is still at 35%. That's very frustrating to me, but at least it's going down. Does anyone know how accurate those body fat scales really are? It's a new scale, one of those wifi ones by Withings.

I love these shakes! I get mine at Sams Club. The price just went up to $18.88 for a 12 pack though so I won't be buying them as often as I used to. :brokenheart:

I find it almost impossible to get enough protein without a shake. I've got my protein set pretty high though, depending on what you've set your macros you may be able to get it through your food without adding shakes.

I'm doing low carb, I've got my ratios set to 15/35/55, carbs/protein/fat. So far so good!

Almost every time I've started doing low carb I've started spotting within 2 weeks and had periods way out of normal. I don't know why either, I was hoping regulating my blood sugar would help my periods not make them worse. But you're not alone, and next doctor appointment I'm going to ask about it.

It wasn't easier, but it wasn't harder either. I think I need to work on my posture when I run, sometimes I get knee pain and sometimes its my hip. I'm hoping to get new sneakers soon, maybe that will fix some of my trouble. W1D3 for me tomorrow. Keep up the great work ladies! :smile:

I always had some too on my thighs, even though I was fairly thin. But when I gained weight this time I got it everywhere, arms, belly, legs all the way down to my ankles. Totally invisible. People even bump into me all the time. I was walking to lunch last week and a guy on the sidewalk almost mowed me down, he was too busy checking out 2 girls on the other side of the street to notice I was right in front of him. It's very depressing sometimes.

Wow this whole thread makes me feel so much better! I haven't eaten 1200 calories a day in over a week, because I'm just not hungry. I worry about those threats of my metabolism slowing down though. Does anyone know if there really is a safe minimum to eat or should I just listen to my body?
