  • How important is running/cycling/yoga... your exercise addiction/goal to you? How has it helped you in areas of your life and what changes do you envision in the next year. MY exercise goals are very important to me because meeting those goals help me succeed in other areas of my life like in my career. Plus I feel so much…
  • Running in Central Florida.
  • I used the one in the cardio section today for my Power Lifting class. Total calories burned for an hour equaled 172. I thought that was a bit low for my effort but I went with it.
  • Just finished the Mainly Marathons New England Series - 131 miles in one week (5 marathons). Recovering now and going for Milwaukee Lakefront marathon in Oct.
  • My goals are Montreal Rock and Roll Marathon in Sept. Not looking for a PR because I'm using this as a long training run for the NY marathon in Nov. I hope to come in at 2:00 for the St. Louis Half in Oct.
  • Next marathon is Montreal Rock and Roll - Sept. 23rd St. Louis Rock and Roll 1/2 Marathon - Oct 21st New York Marathon - Nov 4th
  • You can add me. I am 42 and training for the NY marathon. I need lots of motivation.
  • I'm in my second month of insanity and it is really insane!!! You have to be motivated which I confess sometimes I'm not but when I looked in the mirrow after the first month I was shocked. The first few weeks you don't see anything but by the time you start the second month, you start seeing some results. I should add…
  • I am also 5'4 but my starting weight was a little lower. I too am trying to get to 120 so I know how hard it is. I eat a ton of vegetables and fruits to stay at the 120. The only days I go over are on my long run days but that is because I run between 15-20 miles and I need to refuel. Even on those days though I don't go…
  • 42 no kids, no husband. Love this group, good to see that there are many of us out there.
  • I'm in for the 50 this month. Long run tomorrow - 18 miles
  • You can add me. I have lost some so far but need to kick it up a notch. I'm training for the NY marathon in Nov so I'm really motivated.
  • I am in my second week of Insanity. It hasn't been that bad except for the fact that I am still going to the gym and doing my training runs along with it. Yesterday I did Cardio Power and Resistence and I ended up laying on the floor during the stretches. Pure Cardio is absolutely insane!!!
  • I'll admit it I sing along to " Call me Maybe" when it comes on. It is addictive and hard to get out of your head. Kind of like Miley Cyrus and that silly "Party in the U.S.A."
  • I did the Marine Corp marathon last year, it was great. After running the Nike Women's marathon in 2010, I said I would never do another one but I signed up for Marine Corp and I'm glad I did. It was a great experience. I'm dong two in the fall; Montreal and NYC, maybe after that I'll stop.
  • Have you filled up all of the spots? If not I would love to join. I just orderd my copy and I was going to start on June 1st so this would be perfect. I'm also training for the NYC marathon so I'm hoping that this will help get some of the weight off.
  • I second that. I've been running for years and never had toenail issues, blisters yes but toenails no. My running shoes are 1/2 size larger than my dress shoes. Although I have also learned to not let the ladies doing my pedicures cut the cuticles. For some reason when they do that on my big toe it really hurts. If you can…
