There probably is a label. I just don't know it. I don't think you need to label it. I only label myself gluten free because it's medically necessary. I eat everything but gluten (and things I find gross, like mushrooms).

@Camaramandy648 I believe octo is veg that eats eggs and pescatarian is one that eats fish. I don't know if there's a word for both.

Nice. I may look at that one a little closer. I thought it was the same one I had at first. I tore mine out of Women's Running but it's 16 weeks to first 50k.

Weight was up again this week. Sigh. I hope it's because I ate everything in sight & didn't work out over the weekend because of being glutened. I'm back to working out & watching food so 🤞🏻 for next week!

I was going to attempt a 50k in January. I ended up removing myself from the list because I'm not confident covid will be controlled by then. I've got a plan that I might start still. Or theres a 52k in March. A much harder course though. Good luck with your new plan! Which one is it? Link?

@elise4270 From what I quickly read through earlier we dont enter time for transition. I need to go back and read now that I have time

Anyone ever done a duathalon? I got a race company email today and they are doing their triathlon and duathalon virtually this year. It sounds fun and I checked and can use my indoor bike. I figured it would probably take me 2 hours to complete. It's a: 1 mile run 12 mile bike 5k run

@Avidkeo Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. That has to be an awful experience. Such a young child. I wish I could offer you help but I'm at a loss. Sending you lots of love.

@bearly63 Thank you! Yes, you can run your race whenever. If you want to submit your results & get a finishers certificate it needs to be done before October 4th. I got an email today from a local race company. Their triathlon is going to be virtual this year. There's a duathlon option and you can use treadmills and indoor…

@faebert All the unknowns with it are so scary. How it seems to affect everyone differently with no rhyme or reason. And the long term effects. We don't know if the damages to heart & lung will be short or long term. All we can do is try to keep ourselves safe. 🖤

I think it was @ddmom0811 that had asked about the virtual race charity. They just announced it's St. Judes.

4.25 progression run this morning. First 30 minutes eased into the pace zone and felt good. Last 10 minutes of the faster pace was hard. I barely hit goal pace because I had to stop & walk twice. I was just too warm (it was only 86° when I started at 5 am). At lucnh I'll do my core work and maybe hop on the bike.…

@quilteryoyo Happy Birthday! 🎂🎉🎁

This is an ultrarunner in another group I'm in. So scary. I do what I can to limit my exposure and am thankful my job is still letting me work from home. https://www.womensrunning.com/culture/runners-covid-19-recovery/

@shanaber Our air quality seems better today than yesterday. It was so hazy, and that yellowy fire haze. At first I thought it was a monsoon and got excited & then saw the news about the fire. I'm more sensitive to the air with my allergies and asthma. It sucks LOL

You can see the smoke hanging in the air in this photo.

We finally got to the store yesterday so lots of fruit again. Had kraft gf nac n cheese yesterday. Best of what I've tried so far. Attempted to run this morning. I was scheduled for 50 minute progression run. I did 20 minutes and was done. It was warm (90°), the air is *kitten* (California fire), and my body was like nope.…

@quilteryoyo Off the top of my head I think its about 10 people so far. My list is in the other room. I signed up for the 10k.

@ddmom0811 I believe they do support a charity but last I looked they had not announced which one. But yay! Thanks for signing up!
-
@shanaber I hope you aren't near the fire. Stay safe!

I haven't been tracking today ir yesterday. After I get glutened I get super hungry so I've been eating everything. 😕
-
I had pizza from a restaurant and I suspect that was the culprit. I think a tiny but of cross contamination because it's not super bad. Mostly feel tired and like I'm fighting a migraine today.
-
@ddmom0811 it's because I'm obsessed with scooby doo 🤣 But it will be fun to have a group to do it with! We can say its for my 40th bday lol
-
I think I was glutened and it's been so hot that I took yesterday off and today I might try some yoga or hop on the bike. It was 101 at 1 am Friday. We are breaking all kind of records for July.

@bearly63 Scoobydoorun.com and use coupon code runsonespresso 😃

I woke up this morning and wasn't feeling a run. Then I looked at the temp & it confirmed mt original not running thought. 66ish miles for July. Not bad for a month that was hot & humid and I took a week off. At 5 am (yes screenshot says 6 but it was the same when I woke up at 5 lol)

I'd like a minimum of 80 with an ambitious goal of 90. Other goal: plan runs for "run every trail" for September Aravaipa challenge. The park nearest me has about 55 miles of trails. I need to figure out how to hit them all in 30 days. A bunch of them will be easy but a few will be difficult without hitting some higher…
