I've heard bright angel is an easier climb out over south kaibab. There's one part of bright angel that looks tough. Looks almost straight up lol

@Teresa502 which trails are you doing in your rim2rim? North & South Kaibab? Be safe. The temps are getting up there. Drink lots of water. Last July we did North Kaibab down like 3 miles? Then in October we did South Kaibab down about 3 miles. Coming out is a *kitten*.

Decided to kick off the month and global running day with a 10k. 6.2 miles out of somewhere between 80 and 100. It's a moving target.

I think my mileage will be around 80. I'd like to get 100 but I'm following a plan man. And we are taking the dog camping, off-roading, and hiking for a few days so missing a week.

71 and some change for the month. I was going to do 5k today to hit 75 but a friend I haven't seen in like a year and a half invited me to breakfast so did that instead. See you all in June!

4 mile tempo run with warm up and cool down for a total of 5 miles. Tempo runs are my least favorite type of workout. It's hard so you do it because to improve you need to do hard things. 54ish miles

I've struggled a bit this month and am way behind my goal. I've got about 49 miles so far. I hope to get 25ish before the end of the month to finish around 75. Next month I start virtual marathon training so gotta get my *kitten* together.

April was all about recovery and May is getting the body & mind back into training mode. I set out this morning to do 10x400 at 9:40 to 10:00 min pace. My goal was to do what I could. I remember helping with the organization for Dennis. The time difference was a huge issue. I would suggest maybe making it a weekend where people can participate anytime from say Fri-Mon. And however long they feel is appropriate. Maybe we can do a mile for each member we've lost for those of us that want specific amount.

I try to measure the same spot. I have this tiny indent (probably not the word I'm looking for) that I measure at every time. 🤷🏼♀️ Not worried. It's just weird because it's been the same measurement for years lol

@quilteryoyo You need to find single serve chips & dips. I do that with snacks I know I binge. If it's already portioned I do fine. If I have to portion I binge.

Ok so today's weigh in & monthly measurements... I forgot to do it when I woke up. So I realized after my coffee. Tried to empty the bladder 🤣 and weighed in anyway. I was up .1 lol I may try again tomorrow morning to see. Measurements down about a 1.5" over all measurements. My thighs went up .5" otherwise it would be 2"…

Intuitive eating: It's hard. I tend to stress/anxiety eat or eat out of boredom. I'm trying not to do those things. I feel hungry a lot so I am also working to make better choices. More fruits, vegetables, salads etc Heat: ugh, it's coming. I shouldn't complain because the mornings have been so great lately!

Missed logging a few days. Got busy and forgot. I also have been only eating when hungry so I'm not too worried about if I hit calories or not. Guess we will see tomorrow when I do my weigh-in! I started doing some body-weight leg exercises this week. Still going to PT for the shoulder so no weights or upper body yet.
