With me it all depends on how I'm feeling...I might shave my chest, I might not...I'll do my manscaping thing. but my chest gets iffy depending on how im feeling or my girlfriend at the time...other then that..I dont shave anything else. Well, and my face of course.

Being the Navy brat, i was the one that always moved away...Shoot, now that I'm grown...I still moved away. smh...I just moved from Chicago where I lived for 11 yrs to maryland where my family is located.

iLeft Artistically...I must say so...I majored in Architecture  My left hand is my golden ticket haha
-
Nice, you found a way to modify. I'm a fan of moderation. I haven't made it to 5K level. I understand the knee issue. My left knee is a lil jacked up and usually hurts after a while. I have to be careful w/ it. On another note...My legs don't hurt...but I have a plyo workout 2nite and I run tomorrow morning...we'll see…

You have to be...u have to be able to push urself because your not always gonna have somebody to push u. Compete w/ yourself and you'll always have a challenge on your hands lol
-
Nice...I put a twist on mines...I listen to Planetshakers lol...different but all the same.

Her b4 and afters are just CRAZY!!!!! lol
-
I'm not gonna lie. I'm very competitive...I find myself competing w/ myself lol...I wish I could sustain a 5:45 over a longer distance...but I do want to get to that time...next run Wednesday morning.
-
hahaha right lol thanks...I officially started my C25K journey today. I did 2 miles in 20:30 w/ a mixture of walking and running.
-
Ok I'll give that a go...u kno thinking about it I have to change mindset from sprinter to distance bc I like redweb said...I can't maintain that pace over that period of time...at least not yet.
-
scottb81 and redweb...I agree lol thats why I'm gonna do C25K to help me build myself up to it...That first mile was suppose to be a 1.5 mile...I just stopped at the mile haha nwhitley and mlwatts2...if thats true...then I will most def do my run tomorrow morning. any advice on pre and post run nutrition or routines?
-
I guess I have to agree. When I originally saw my time I wasn't happy or satisfied...I wanted a faster time. But after talking to so many people with experience...they've really made me feel confident in the time I had...I'm gonna continue to push...I'm hungry now so, I just have to feed the need lol
-
Its crazy bc I only ran 1 mile but now after meeting runners I'm thinking about maybe pushing and training for marathons...and I've never jogged b4 in my life...now only if I can stop walking around the house like newborn colt haha
-
I want it to be 2morrow morning...now I'm just gonna work my way up to 5K...using C25K...I know I can push harder then the first couple of weeks will push I just wanna take it slow...that mile was just a trial jog...but I'm gonna push to run that 5:45 mark if not faster then push up to 5K then maybe 10K...who knows if its…
-
Thanks...I was proud....I wanna get my mile down to high school form...5:45 was my fastest mile
-
palmerig88: great catch :)

There's a website called P90Xcalories.com that gives u the estimate of how many calories you burned...so, from there u create your own exercise and and log the calories that way...I found out about the site a lil while ago bc I wanted to now how many calories each workout burned
-
I'm no expert but I either eat a really healthy meal w/ a mix of hi carbs and protien...or drink a ensure...or since I'm doing P90X i'll drink there recovery drink...I do either one with in very 1st hr after the workout bc thats when your body is primed to receive nutrients...That generally reduces soreness. I know that…
-
Awesome...keep going...another guy suggested that since I already ran a mile non stop that I dont need C25K...but I think I'll use it just to get up 5K lol
-
Thanks...I love the profile picture
-
I'm sure when I get up to 5K level my speed will probably 5.2mph as well...thats a long distance. It's a goal but i don't know if I can tackle it just yet...in a few though :D
-
As long as you finish, that is the important thing.
-
Now that u mention that...ur right lol...yea, i had to go up two hills...1 small and another larger one...that last one tuckered me out plus it was near the end lol
-
Thanks...I will continue to push. :D It's funny because I'm already thinking about 5K...I'll work my way up there.
-
Thanks everybody...I didn't know if it was a good time or not. I wanted to make it a 1.5 miles but again those hills got me lol. But I did run it easier then I thought I would...thanks for the encouragement :D
