If you can get Cascadian Farms "Strawberry Fields" (I think it's made by Kashi, too) that will give you the crunch without sogginess, and the strawberries are GREAT. Re: the thread in general: I love the abovenamed Strawberry Fields, Grape Nuts, and believe it or not, Fiber One. The original one. I KNOW it's weird but that…

I do too! I used to keep it in a storage unit until we got our condo. :) I own two spinning wheels, one modern and one hard-working Canadian Production Wheel that's now over 100 years old. :D it's bright yellow! Parties are the one place I have been able to practice self-control (my weight problem stemmed from bored eating at home). Some tips I've found useful: 1. Drink a tall glass of water before going to the party, or make it your first 'drink' when you get there. Not only will you feel more full, but you'll be hydrated in…

I'm working on a sock, an afghan, and a shawl at the moment. The sock is plain vanilla but done in really pretty yarn; the afghan is the crocheted Baby Reims Quilt found on Rav, and the shawl is half a pi shawl...which we are calling Tau. ;)

H-hi...this is my first post here on MFP. I was so happy to find people from Ravelry! I'm divinebird on there as well. I'm a knitter and spinner. It's nice to see people who can hear 'spinning' and think yarn before they think of stationary bikes! ;) I have a really aggressive goal to reach and it feels nice to have some…
