I have a poor history with any nut butter. I no longer have straight PB in the house. Thank goodness my husband doesn't use it. We have a jar for the dogs but that knife as been double dipped from their Kong so no go there. I do have a ton of PB2 jars though. I got a deal on groupon and told myself I have to go through…

I have done this with apple sauce and pumpkin puree. I call it fluffing.

My box's coach wants everyone to sign up for it to help challenge us. So that be said, whether or not I sign up I will be doing the WOD's.

I call them free days. Sometimes life gets in the way and instead of stressing it I plan it. I be good all week and so when I have my free day its a buffer.

Cellulite is genetic for the most part. Some of the skinniest toned people can still have spots of cellulite while some overweight person has little. Stop stressing.

If its easier to get your fruits a vegetables in a easy and timely manner more power to ya. Just don't miss on some good protein, too.

This is my food porn. Keep posting!

The recipe builder has gotten a lot easier now that you just need to add in the recipe. You can specify what product you used in the recipe because one can of beans can be different than dry beans for instance. It then goes by servings. I've done a few things in the past. Like for sauces I would weight out the final…

The meal the night before seems to make my run easiest. Complex carbs. Before the run I have a chia seed bar and coffee and make sure to use the bathroom before. The races I have done have enough water stations and even energy gels at certain markers. Once it gets closer to race day you'll have more details on your own…

BWW you have to email to get the nutritional menu. Someone on MFP was kind enough to upload it, I imagine.

I think your doctor may have a quantitative brain and a lack of tact. Here's the problem x and if a and b are both true then answer y can happen. Some patients are looking for the easy fix and maybe he had 20 in a row begging for the band. There may have been a series of events for the suggestion. However, I agree its too…

You go people! I cut it out for 2 weeks and my skin cleared up so nicely. I was hoping to cut my addiction keeping sugar below 25g, fruit and otherwise. 2 weeks was not enough and I felt like a junkie just counting down the days. I would join you but I will now continue to write 700+ weak excuses. (skip that actually) Good…

Thank you! If you could elaborate on your "paleo-ish" and intermittent fasting. These terms are new to some.

http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/05/110519113024.htm ugh you people are no fun. It's about the diet existing not whether or not it works. The cabbage diet is another one. I wouldn't do it but it exists. Details on that one not sure about

Space them out at first. In time your body may adjust that it won't be an issue. Shouldn't need more than one a day anyway, right?

Studies have been done with protein breakfasts resulting in less body fat. Whether it be appetite suppressing or a hormone balancing its not quite clear. The cheat day is also a junk day. The point is to avoid absorbing as much of the junk food as possible. No fruit because no sugar in any form. The book is far better at…

I believe I read once that only 10% are affected by sodium in regards to hypertension. Doctors advise lower sodium diets to everyone in case that 1 in 10 person is their patient and its an easy fix verses meds. If you drink enough water and counter with potassium you can balance out especially if its whole foods that you…

I can't say I really remember what ground beef was like other than greasy. Recently I have been adding a little more red meat from grass-fed beef but stick mostly to fowl and fish. In 8th grade I did it for moral reasons. I was going to give up the red meat then chicken eventually. Now I focus on finding better raised…

I did that over 15 yrs ago. I did a lot of grilled chicken because my family would go to McD's and I hated chicken nuggets. It was easy for me because I hated bacon and ham. I could live without burgers. I would still eat turkey though. Ground turkey works great as a substitute for ground beef and less greasy.

Are you adding or subtracting from what you are currently doing? Anything is better than nothing, but if you are tapering away from more you'll see a not as pleasant change at first.

You need to look for the right products on the shelf. English Muffins can range a lot but Healthy Life (I think that's the name) has them at 80cals vs 120 or more.

Stick to the medications. Dropping them off can give you zaps and other terrible side effects. I have not been treated for anxiety or depression but find it has lessened with Vitamin D and Fish Oil. If you are curious as how food may help get a blood panel of deficiencies and discuss with your doctor what you can do to…

On a separate note, some days I wish this was available. Gets too cold you can't seem to ever warm up. But yes can be very scary I'm sure... (slinks away into the dark coldness of Wisconsin)

Might I just add any "fiber" you are still holding onto from the excess food. More water and coffee with help with that.
-
I take BCAA during/after workout in the morning because I don't eat until after lunch. It helps curb appetite as well as prevent potential muscle breakdown from intermittent fasting.

Ever try an Exo protein bars? I'm an adventurous eater and will try most things. Its cricket protein. Now that wasn't the bad part, it was the fruit puree they made them with. NOT chocolaty at all!

Sometimes the things that matter involve uncomfortable moments. Say exactly what you just said to all of us. If the PT can't accept it it isn't your problem anymore. If you feel it would be a good move just rip that band-aid.
