  • Love your Minion/Tardis shirt. Is that Threadless? And of course, awesome job!!!!
  • I got Wii Fit years ago when I first started working out and tracking my food. My opinion is that it's amusing and I still use it to track my weight and occasionally do a few yoga stretches. However I don't think that it is much of a work out. I think unless you are super super obese you can do more exercise than that.
  • Thanks for all the tips. I know its a newbie race but running still seems like this mystical club to me... is there a special handshake? I definitely never thought I'd be running anything, except maybe away from zombies.

  • Earl Grey/Crescentwood/Grant area... I just moved from the Village so I'm not sure what where I live is called. :)
  • I just finished W6D2 this morning and I honestly never thought I'd be a runner! I've tried to start running several times before and never succeed. I am planning to run a 5k at the end of August and I'm excited and nervous. I have yet to actually run 5k and am nervous about entering a race I am unsure I can actually run…
  • I'm currently training for the Twilight Run at Fort Whyte in August. It'll be my first 5k!
  • Yum food! I don't have a particular favourite recipe however in general I love the Weight Watchers recipes. They really taught me how to cook... using spices and marinades for flavour rather than high fat content!
  • Wow, so inspiring! I also had to have ACL/meniscus surgery so I know how that feels! You've done great, keep up the good work!
  • Check out Chalene Johnson's videos! I'm a home workout person too. I started with her Turbo Jam and then moved on to Turbo Fire. Those sets of videos are mostly cardio but I've been looking into her Chalean Extreme which I heard is similar to 30DS but harder. I love Chalene's attitude and her workouts are fun and…
  • Shopping on the edges of the grocery store is the best! That's where all of the interesting food is. However you do have to put more effort into actually making it... I find it difficult sometimes when I come home from work I just want to unwrap something to eat instead of cooking but it is so worth it to actually cook.…
  • Hello everyone, My name is Nicole. I'm 24 years old and I loose weight sooo slowly! My goal is to get into the 'healthy' BMI category which means I have to loose about 35lbs. My goal for the group is to loose 10lbs. I look forward to seeing the scale move down during these next couple months! Cheers, Nicole
  • Congratulations! This is a really great story, keep it up!
  • We me on an online game in 2009. I didn't really start talking to him until July. I was a little intimidated by him. Then I realized he was actually very kind and caring. I was 22 and he was 30. I got my passport and in October that year I went to visit him. In December he came to visit me. Then in May 2010 I went to stay…
  • Its the best! It's kinda gross when you first start using it but you get used to it. Besides, tampons are pretty disgusting too! And no, you can't feel it at all as long as you put it in right.
  • Being active, eating healthier, and staying hydrated will go a long way to making you healthier even if you're not dropping the pounds. I keep trying to sell my family on the awesomeness of drinking water but I don't think they've bought it yet. If I don't drink my normal amount of water in a day I can really feel a…
  • I met my partner on an online game. We talked online all the time, then on Skype, then we met in person. Now I have immigrated to Canada (I'm American) and we have been living together for 2.5yrs. This type of thing seems to happen quite often!
  • I'm in Winnipeg! :)
  • Where will you be when this occurs? Winnipeg, Manitoba Will you be able to out run them? Likely not... but I'm hoping I can use my superior intellect to my advantage What survival skills do you have that will allow you to outsmart/outlive a zombie crisis? First Aid/CPR certified, good cardio, and a BA in Art History.... oh…
  • Hello! Yes you can add people to a friend list. It's similar to Facebook. You can post status updates and there is a newsfeed of people's exercise and when they loose weight. It's nice to put in you lost .5lb and all your friends congratulate you. It makes me feel better anyway! I know people here understand how hard I had…
  • DavPul I know what you mean, I don't really trust my knee either. Walking is fine but if I have to jump or step down or lunge etc I'm not confident it'll support me. Maybe because it always feels different? Like this morning it's dreary and rainy out and my knee is stiff and sore. Justin, I'm sure I could use to stretch…
  • I've been struggling with this problem lately. I moved to a new city... and new country right after I graduated university. I couldn't have had worse timing. So my friends are spread out all over North America. But after moving here I have a hard time meeting people about my age with similar interests. So if anyone in…
  • First, the staple of all cooking should be spices! I learned about their wonderfulness a couple years ago and can't live without them. They make foods I hated, fabulous! Have you tried lentils? Couscous? Rice? It may be difficult for you at first since you're a picky eater, but I would suggest trying ethnic foods,…
  • I've been doing a lot of Turbo Jam lately. I used to do the Jillian Michaels Burn Fat, Boost Metablolism which is a great workout but kindof hard on my knees.
  • Hi! I'm 24, feel free to add me. I totally understand the lifestyle habits of being at university!
  • It's usually about 2lbs for me but it can be worse if I was bad and ate some high sodium foods during that time. Don't worry though, it happens to all of us!
  • I'm not Canadian but I live there, so thanks! And happy 4th for the Americans in a few days!
  • What kind of weight training have you been doing? Do you go to a gym?
  • I would love to do that! I'd be so close to my goal weight and just in time to see my family for the holidays too.
  • I know you have 3 pages of this already but... You look amazing! Great job! You look so much healthier now too! Congratulations.
