I use the food tracker on her. It is a great tool.

I save a few calories for an after dinner snack. I have done this throughout my weightloss journey. It the my one habit I have the hardest time changing. I just think as long as I am within my calorie goal the time I eat doesn't matter.

Hi Mandy, your are not to old. There are a lot of us "older folk" on here. I am 54 & started this in May of 2012. I have never been one to exercise but have come to love it. Just start somewhere, I chose to walk because it is free & I set my pace. I sent you a friend request if you don't mind an "old" friend.

Kupcake, I think it gives you accountability. Knowing others will be looking at it might help to make better choices. You have to hold yourself accountable. You are only cheating you by not tracking more carefully. If you choose to open it up you go under profile to open it. You can choose public or friends only.

Oh how I needed to hear that this morning. Got on the scales & I have gain 0.4 lbs. I know it isn't much but I have worked so hard to stay focused & its frustrating to see the scales move in the wrong direction. That being said I will continue on this journey. Not giving up. Gonna track sodium & try harder to drink water…

My husband goes with me sometime. He isn't as motivated as I am. In the beginning he wouldn't go at all. I began to tell him of my successes (walked a mile in 17 min, 16 min, 15 min). He has begun to come with me more often. He now knows if he doesn't go I will go without him! That ploy doesn't work. I do this for me!

Most days breakfast is peanut butter on a slice of bread. I usually have been up a couple of hours by then. I was never a breakfast eater before, but I have trained myself to eat it. Start out with smaller amounts till you get your system used to it.

It doesn't take an exorcism, just slow and steady determination. You can do this! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Sent a friend request

Not GA, but definitely deep south, small town of Flomaton, AL. I hit the track @ 6 to 6:30 or sometimes late in the evening.
