I ruined weeks of clean eating tonight with a handful of peanut butter cookies. I think some of it stems from frustration though. While the scale was moving downward for awhile lately it hasn't moved down at all. Today I even gained! I probably would have been fine with a couple but I kept going. It was bad. The number on…

Tagging along for advice too! I'm just under 5'5" and am 129 and I can't lose my last six pounds either! I run everyday and eat TDEE -20% and the scale won't budge. I take that back, I went up a little today and I have no idea why! I'm hoping someone will have some great advice for us.
-
If the scale has been going down everyday except for today then you should be thrilled. It's just water weight.

I'm just under 5'5" so I hope it's ok that I chime in :) CW 128.7 GW 122

I would LOVE to lose 17 pounds in three months!!! That is great weight loss. I agree with the posters who said you need to go by how you feel. If you feel good have the energy to workout then 1200 is probably fine. Personally I would be a cranky, nasty person if I only ate that much but that's just me :). When I started…

Should I delete it then? I really don't want to get in trouble!

One more thing. I just put in your weight and height in the BMI chart that I use and it said 132 would be 24.9 and 131 would be 24.7. Anything 24.9 and under is considered healthy weight. 128 is 24.2, which is lower than it needs to be from what you are saying. 6 pounds in 30 days is very doable if you want to lose it the…

I would say most definitely yes! When I started MFP I needed to lose about 20 pounds and now that I'm seven pounds away from my goal it is coming off soooo slowly. Even though I stayed within my TDEE -20% yesterday and had a great workout there wasn't a loss today. I didn't gain, which I was thrilled about, but at the same…

Thank you everyone for your replies. I'm not going to lie. I ended up running about 2.5 miles but I usually run 3.5, so I gave myself a little break. That being said, I am tired because it has been weeks since I took a day off so I am going to make myself rest tomorrow. I'm always on the go with our kids and cleaning and…

Wow, you have described exactly how I'm feeling today! Usually I really look forward to my daily run but this morning it feels like I would be dragging 500 ton weights behind me. Ugh. Maybe I do need to rest for a day.
-
One more question then. The days you don't work out, how much do you reduce your caloric intake by? I've been losing using the TDEE -20% at moderately active so on days when I decide not to run should I put it to lightly active and use that recommendation?
-
I'm pretty active all day. I have three kids so I'm constantly chasing after them and playing with them. Even though it might be smart for me to take a day off, it just feels weird. At the same time I'm actually really tired.
-
I might be going closer to 1200 soon. I've been eating at TDEE -20% for about three weeks now and it seems like I've been losing and gaining the same two pounds. I was at 1200 calories but I plateaued for several weeks, which is why I tried the TDEE method. Eating 1200 calories a day helped me lose 75 pounds so if I don't…

I agree about finding a new doctor. I can't imagine any qualified and intelligent doctor actually approving a diet that low in calories for someone as small as you are. My goodness that is just insane.

I'm 5'4 1/2" and this morning I was 131. I don't like being this size at all. Before I had kids I was always between 123-125 and was really fit. Honestly it seems like every time I get below 130 I go right back up. I was 128 last week and even after sticking with my plan I'm up three pounds :(. I'm beginning to think that…

I have epilepsy as well but I don't have caloric instructions. The one thing I can't do is push myself too hard while exercising. The last seizure I had was after I ran very hard for about 6 miles. I also need to get enough sleep, which can be hard with three kids :). Hopefully we can all help each other on this weight…

Oops, I meant two pounds in four days. I just hate that I was five pounds away from my goal and this gain happened.
-
I know that this is going to sound bizarre but I have become obsessed with running so psychologically it will be tough for me to change it up but I will. Thank you all for your great ideas!
-
I never ever thought about changing my exercise but it does make sense. I run about 3.5 miles a day at a 6.0 incline so maybe I will slow down a bit but raise the incline. Would that help?

It's less than a pound but it's just so weird. I've been losing for awhile and then all of the sudden I've been gaining doing the exact same thing. I drink at least 100 ounces of water everyday and eat at least 100 grams of protein. I usually go a little under on my carbs but I do go over on my sodium. It's not bad though.…

Agreed. I have a very close friend who has a thyroid disorder and she works out everyday and eats extremely healthy but she can't lose weight. She is trying so hard and she's very depressed about it. You really shouldn't judge anyone.

Light is about 1475 and moderate us about 1675. The thing is I can easily eat 1600 calories so if it needs to be 1475 I definitely need to cut back :).
-
I'm not sure about body fat percentage but I am 5'4 1/2", female and about 133 pounds. I would like to get to 124 but 122 would be perfect. I got down to 123 about a year ago and within a week I was back to 125 so I just don't know if 122 will work :).
-
I'm 5'4 1/2" and I feel best when I'm about 125. I've been between 130-135 for the last year though and I hate it. I got down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 123 about a year ago but it only lasted for about a week. I run three miles a day and am eating much better but my body seems to be happiest between 130-135, even…
-
You are at a great weight now. I agree with several of the previous posters in that 110 would be way too thin. Very unhealthy. I'm sure you look beautiful at 135!
-
I am 5'4" so 7 pounds makes a HUGE difference for me. At 130 my size 6's fit well but at 137 my 8's feel snug. It's completely bizarre. Even five pounds makes a big difference for me, which is crazy!
-
Well you might not like my response. I tried the Ignite package several months ago and it was a nightmare. Yes, I lost five pounds in 3 days but the day I stopped and went back to eating 1200 calories I gained it all back. The days where you actually can eat you only consume at most 500 calories, which is way too little. I…

I do have a tendency to over think almost anything! Thank you all for your help!!!
