  • Don't start out too fast. Its tempting with everyone taking off from the start, but if you start your run like you do any other training run you will still be going strong by the end. Also race for you, it doesn't matter if you are first or last, if you had enough courage to sign up and show up then that's a success.
  • I run, take interval and pilates classes now in maintenace and for each hour of excercise I add another 3 ounces of protein. When I was looking the majority of the weight I had to scale back and pretty much just did a hour of pilates most days and made sure I hit my 10,000 steps. It was challenging but I have fitness goals…
  • I would recommend talking to your health coach. I had to cut back on excercising which made the weightloss easier. When I'm training for races I add in extra protein, but eventually had to move to a 4&2 plan. If you go over all your habits/routines with your coach they can tell you the best plan based on your lifestyle.
  • I went through this for about 2 weeks after vacation. I went all out on the trip and really did overeat. When I got home I had a lot of difficulty getting back on consistently. What helped for me was going back to the 5&1 and for 3 days take it meal by meal. Stay busy to keep your mind off food. I took more walks, limited…

  • I have found that regular cardio and pilates really helps to whittle down the waist line and lower abs.
  • That's great, keep it up!
  • Freezing all the time!
  • Congrats for making the jump. Make sure you have the free snacks on hand for those first couple days. chicken bullion helps as well. Once you are past the first 3-4 days its great. I'm 6 pounds away from goal, and still can't believe it.
  • I like wearing it daily, it gives me that extra reminder to keep moving. My son has even gotten into it and checks the flower to make sure we are being active enough. If I'm short on steps I will squeeze in an extra walk to hit my target. The new versions sync to mobile devices which is great, mine just syncs when I am at…
  • The carmel nut maintenance bar or the brownie, I have both every day.
  • I do, even more so now that I'm about to transition. I find myself getting hungrier as I get closer to the end of my weight loss. I was moved to a 4&2, but some days I just need an extra snack in the afternoon to get through my day.
  • The advice here is good. Stop the pattern and get right back on. If you beat yourself up you will just continue to poor eating habits.
  • 6 months and 64lbs. I'm on the last 5-10 punds and its SLOW!
  • That's inspiring, good for you!
  • Costumes are anything you can imagine. Think anything from peter pan, a ton of tinks, tutu's even lost boys, hook and alligator and a wide array of disney costumes and funny shirts.

  • Start training early. Last tinker was our first and almost every one in our group hit injuries while training. We were beginning runners. I used the galloway program and got a timer, since then its much more manageable. Oh and start working on your costume, its so much fun!

  • I think the first big step would be to log everything you put into your mouth, whether you want to see it or not. You can't reevaluate your life or choices until you see exactly what you are currently doing.
  • I ran the tinkerbell in January, and will be doing Wine & Dine in Nov. Love Disney races!
