my kids like big empty boxes. also, there are some really inexpensive "forts" you can buy from cranium. i got mine for $6. it's really a tent but is designed so the kids take it apart and build there own kind of tent. it's great inside when the weather is bad. a zoo membership is also a great idea. for $80 a year the whole…

Numi Tea, Gunpowder Green... yum!

6 days a week i burn a boatload of calories doing a very fast, boxer-style jump rope. i've been sick the last few days and don't want to start that just yet. so i thought strength training would be good and looked up the calories burned from lifting weights. it's about 1/4 of the calories burned doing cardio. it hardly…

at the risk of sounding like a bonehead... what is "WW"?
-
well there's your problem! with all the calorie burning you're doing, you've got to fuel that fire. if you don't eat your calories, including the ones you burn, your metabolism isn't going to let you lose the weight.

I just got what everyone else apparently had. I spent all of last night... paying homage to the porcelin king... if you will. So not only did I unceremoniously get rid of those calories, but today I just can't get beyond 500. I made a valiant attempt. It's ok though, considering the only exercise I've gotten is moving from…

Holy crap! I don't know that stats but I'm betting my old favorite, Stuffed French Toast at IHOP, is a killer!

Well, you're certainly in the right place for valley fever, especially if you're outside Phoenix where a lot of the building and stirring up dust is going on. But, it's unlikely. Don't overlook mono. But with either, it's time to see a doctor. Your symptoms have gone on too long.

Today I burned 1,015... yes, i said 1,015 clories!!!! mostly by doing: 24 minutes of fast, boxer jump rope 50 minutes of shoveling snow, ice & slush! today i earned my hot tub! and some extra yummies!

i had 2 c-sections... 2 and 4 years ago. i was also kind of old to be having babies (40 & 42 when i had them). i never had stretch marks so i can't help with that. but i have the pouch and no feeling on the scar. the "pouch" is actually going away, quickly. so i think with as young as you are, keep working at it and most…

i just realized that this may look bad... i meant "I" will walk to the nearest plastic surgeon.
-
my exercise plan for this is to walk vigorously to the nearest board-certified plastic surgeon.

(i edited this part because i said something really mean and thought better of it!). In our county, the website has different levels of offender so you can tell the ones that were, say... 18 with a 17 y/o girlfriend. for this type it usually states "innappropriate relationship with a minor." if it says child rape, beware.…

 I want to thank you for making me shoot coffee outta my nose! I'm stuck too. I've been at this weight for 3 weeks. I just tried upping my calories and I certainly feel smaller but I haven't seen it on the scale yet. If you've been religiously at this since you started, maybe you need a break for a few days? This is…

we used to call that place "the hefer" for obvious reasons!

AWESOME!!!! you so deserve to brag!

I take a shopping list and try to beat the prior week's "olympic speed shopping" time trial. It gets me outta there before my brain registers all the white stuff.
-
I threw caution to the wind and have upped my calories as well. I feel like I'm cheating when the front page says I have 100 calories remaining instead of 500 or 700. I do feel better, I don't feel as tired. I haven't seen a difference on the scale yet. But I think it's is on strike. The scale hasn't moved in 3 weeks, but…

Just when I thought I was starting to lose motivation.... Around Christmas, my sister-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer for the 2nd time. My brother has decided to organize my entire family (and it's a big one) to do the national 3 day 60 mile walk to end breast cancer through the Susan G. Koman Foundation. Among all…

WOW!!! and Holy crap! And here I am praying for more. I'd better be careful what I ask for! I' say the bright side is that shoveling burns lots of calories, but you don't have anywhere to shovel it!

LOL!! sorry, loved the jared comment. maybe you could throw in a little more exercise and have some boullion for lunch with raw veggies, then a decent dinner. i'm thinking you could do a really good omlet with half eggs & half eggwhites with some lite cheese and veggies... just a suggestion
