Thanks to those sharing race reports. I love reading them! So I really wanted to get out today, even just for a walk would have been great, but feeling sick, tired, shift work, and 2 year old, made my exercise impossible today. I guess I got lightly active with cleaning etc. And I'm sure to fit something in tomorrow. This…

I haven't had time to catch up on everyone's posts, but hope to do so later today. I have had a good couple of days since I last checked in. On Friday I did a hill walk, and I ran (slowly) some of the uphill, using my heart rate as a guide of when to walk again. I won't put that in my month count, because it wouldn't have…

So I've had a cold for a couple of days, and went out for my run after work today (finished at about midday), and first someone stopped me to tell me how to lose weight!!! (I couldn't believe it they actually pulled over in their car and got out to come and talk to me...feeling like I must look huuuuge!!) and then I got a…

I often wait a week after I get home from holidays before weighing in. Usually I wish I had weighed when I got home just to see what the water weight was!

Hi All, loving how active this challenge is! I have a walking half marathon on the 14th, but I am also halfway through a C210k. So I'm getting a lot of walking kms and some running ones too. I have my first 10k race planned for June 5th. I'm hoping to be able to run (slowly) the whole thing. So pretty excited for that. I…

Hi all, I'm a new runner, and am halfway through a couch to 10k program. I do a lot of walking, but am transitioning to running slowly. I'm mum to a 2 year old, and struggling to lose weight, but I'm enjoying my increased fitness from the running.

I'm from Christchurch in New Zealand!

I'm just a beginner runner, will be week 7 of a couch to 10k next week. My goal is 50k. hE bit of a random number haha)

I've unlinked my fitbit, because I was getting too many calories and eating them and not losing. Now I'm just putting in my actual exercise, and I eat all of that, and I'm losing again.

I have something similar every couple of weeks in my schedule, and what I do is add a small extra meal, usually a peanut butter sandwich. And I often have a lower calorie day some other time ibn the week to make up for it. My job is very sedentary so I try to be a bit active on those days too, although I can't fit in a big…

I remember my first couple of days when I changed to a charge hr I had very high cals to eat. It settled down pretty quickly.

I had real trouble trying to lose weight while breadt feeding. Any deficit affected my milk, and also I would get so hungry I'd end up eating rubbish food, ie anything I could get my hands on. I ended up trying to focus on not gaining weight, and also increasing the healthy foods in my diet. After my baby weaned I was able…

Just a warning re chia seeds, they are 70 cals for a tbs, so a 'few' tablespoons would quickly add up :)

My main goal is to get back into consistent logging, and today I have achieved that! I know the weight loss will follow if I log every day.
