Problem - Natalia Kills

Friday was Fran. :noway:

I suffer from leg/foot cramps if I don't supplement. I'm fairly low-carb and avoid both bananas and potatoes; I have no idea whether other foods might be good sources. My cramps are VICIOUS and I do not mess around with them...potassium supplements every night.
-
For my family I generally stick to raw honey or maple syrup, or dates if possible. I'm diabetic, so none of those work for me. I use SweetLeaf liquid stevia in my coffee and tea.

I loved them immediately. Then again, I was a barefoot girl already, and wore shoes as rarely as possible, so I didn't have a big adjustment period at all. Like, I put them on and wore them for full workdays immediately.

I  my VFF's sooo much! I live in a warm climate and vastly prefer being barefoot. They were an easy transition for me. I'm still barefoot at home all the time, but I wear my VFF's whenever I have to go anywhere else (work, shopping, etc.). I used to CrossFit in them most of the time, but don't love them for jumping…

Kegels aren't the be-all, end-all... http://mamasweat.blogspot.com/2010/05/pelvic-floor-party-kegels-are-not.html

I really should just get over myself and ask about this stuff when I'm there. But I'm usually the only female around when I go and I'm just weird like that...
-
Tears, yep. I actually screamed when the soap hit it. So where does one find Glide?
-
Oh good Gods, I pee myself every damn time I jump rope. I've taken to wearing pads to the box. Apparently there was a down-side to birthing 3 11# babies. :noway:

Um..we're the same age. You are NOT ALLOWED to be a granny. That is all.

Best. Post. Ever. I have no issues with chalk farts if it will stop this horrifying butt pain. That may be the weirdest sentence I've ever typed in my life.
-
Yep, ab-mat situps, on top of a yoga mat. :/

In my experience, even seeing the results in front of them may not be enough to make them question conventional wisdom. I'm right on the line between obese/overweight and am the smallest I've ever been in my adult life. I eat bacon and eggs for breakfast - at work - just about every day. One day I was extolling the virtues…

I needed that, a lot. Thanks. :)

Well Fed's cook-ups and hot plates revolutionized the way I meal plan/prep & cook for my very busy family of 5. It was worth every penny. As a matter of fact, knowing what I know now I'd have probably paid double for it. I use it several times a week and have made the mayo and stir-fry sauce so many times I could probably…

This chicken recipe DID change my life. The first time I made it, I ended up making it a TOTAL of 3 times that WEEK. I make it every week or every other week now, using a 5# bag of boneless-skinless chicken breasts. I double the marinade, then cook it in batches. It makes enough for dinner for my family of 5 plus lunch…

Ours is a garage box. Since January it's been the 2 coaches (a married couple), my husband and I, another couple, and occasionally another friend of the coaches. In the last few weeks 3 more people have joined us. I LOVE it. It's south GA in summer and hotter than HELL but I'd rather go there than my nice, air-conditioned…

Every. Single. Word. of this. All of it. You are ADORABLE. And people are *kitten*; they think they can say anything to somebody who's overweight and it's okay. Girl, I have lived this my whole life. My cousin just wrote a blog post about this very thing. You are doing amazing things for yourself: body, mind and soul.…

So funny to see this post this afternoon. I had to pull out my driver's license today and was SHOCKED at the picture. I forgot I used to look like that. The lady who was helping me asked me how much weight I'd lost since I had the picture taken: 50 lbs., but it looks like a LOT more.

This just cracked me up. LOL We're planning to raise our own pork; Beyond Bacon is on my required reading list.
-
I never thought of it as the least bit insulting, just being helpful. Up until last week I was the only person there in the afternoons, so I was working out with just the coach. Now there's someone else with me but I usually have to leave long before he's done. I hope nobody considers it insulting or rude that I put my…

Y'all are cracking me up ... the absolute very last thing in the WORLD that the Whole9/Whole30 folks are doing is trying to sell diet pills. And the earlier poster is right...you don't have to buy a damn thing to try a Whole30, except amazingly delicious whole foods (which presumably you were going to buy anyway). Yes,…

Have you considered buying Beyond Bacon? I think you may need it... ;)

Insulin resistance goes hand-in-hand with PCOS. The best type of diet to manage insulin-resistance is low-carb. So, not just gluten-free, but grain-free.

I've been CF'ing since late January (started 2-3x/week and now at 4-5x/week) and eat TDEE-20% every day. I've lost about 30# and 3 clothing sizes since I started CF. I still have a LOT to lose but this is working well for me.

That's a lot of carbs and not much protein or fat. I agree with the pp that it sounds like your blood sugar shot up with the carby breakfast & snack and then crashed. Adding protein and fats will help even out the big swings and should help you feel better.

All of this. Yes.

Yesterday's entire WOD was running. The whole. stupid. thing. And I've been sidelined from running indefinitely due to knee issues. I did 1 round anyway and I'm paying for it today. Stupid running.
