  • Sorry you reminded of this from my childhood. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eK3bPSR3UoE
  • I might try this for dinner sometime...
  • First check out The Oatmeal Artist. Second, oatmeal made with water, 2 runny eggs, 2 strips of bacon with salt and pepper all broken up and mixed together. MMMMMMM
  • I like milk in oatmeal. Soy milk/almond milk taste weird warm to me. Otherwise w/e?
  • I spend on average $50 a week. This is just for me. I live in the Mid-Atlantic area. I get a lot of frozen veg from Wegman's because 1 bag is $1. I will eat a bag of veggies a day. I get the family packs of <insert meat here> and freeze them in portions. I do cereal and milk, and I make my own frozen meals. My BF does…
  • Starting weight: 168lbs (1/1/15) Current Weight:158 (3/13/15) 12 week goal weight:137 Physical Goal: Trying to do 5x5 and racquetball 3x a week Nutritional Goal: 90g protien a day, increase fruit/veg Yeah my weight loss expectations light seem a bit high, but it is only 1% per week. We'll see =)
  • Regular cheerios. The almond milk is slightly sweet. I think that the almond milk+honeynut is a bit too sweet. However, according to my BF, I eat cardboard =P ETA: I don't like hot cereal with almond milk or soy milk. I think the flavor changes.
  • I dunno really. I am unhappy at 1200 calories. I am also 5'4", current weight is 158. My BMR is 1450 calories a day. That is what my body needs to lay in bed all day and breath. About 4 weeks ago I weighed 162. I have been eating 1450 calories + 80% of my exercise calories back, but trying to not eat more that 1750 in a…
  • SE PA. It's supposed to get to 50 today and it hit 61 yesterday! I was sooo excited. Although I got a fantastic work out shoveling 10 inches of snow last thursday. :| I belong to LA Fitness and I lift weights and use the racquetball court. I suck at racquetball, but I have fun chasing the ball around. It is more mentally…
  • Have her find some recipes that she thinks sounds yummy. Have her help make the food. idk. It's hard for me to relate to your daughter because when I was growing up we didn't have a lot of food, and I knew that I should be happy to have a meal. That said, I still went through a "no tomato sauce" phase, but I just ate plain…
  • In another thread someone was singing the praises of the "Flipbelt"
  • I think the "30 mins a day" also includes things like walking. It is not a good idea to be completely sedentary all day long. I think it is also easier for people to wrap their minds around 30 mins every day rather than 1 hour every other day. They can make the 30 mins a part of their daily routine.
  • How is it not good for weight loss? You are getting your heart rate up, and you are hauling your body weight through a bunch of water resistance! It's easy on your joints and if it makes you feel good do it! How is swimming as exercise any different from running or cycling or dancing? You might want to throw in some heavy…
  • I stopped eating something that I was genuinely not enjoying. Normally I am one of those "finish everything on your plate" people. But Today I forgot my lunch and my boss offered me some Keebler PB crackers. I ate 4 of them and realized I wasn't enjoying them, so I stopped.
  • Sometimes I'm happy that there is just me and my boss and she's never there.
  • Well Check out the Oatmeal Artist. I just posted in another threat that I am rotating between PB oatmeal and Runny eggs over oatmeal with bacon. I make my oatmeal with water. And for the PB, I add 1 tbs brown sugar. I know the egg one sounds gross but I love it! Especially with cracked black pepper and salt!
  • From the videos on the site and from some third party reviews, IT does not seem to bounce. The one girl said that she got it specifically because she has "bingo wings" and armbands slide down. You are fit like the ladies in the videos I watched so unless they glued them to their tummies, I would assume no bounce. Hope this…
  • But I love my breakfasts. :'( I am firmly in the "breakfast is the most important meal of the day [for me] and if I don't eat it your body will slip into starvation mode and you'll DIE" camp. Right now it is a rotation of "Peanut Butter Oatmeal" or "Runny Eggs Over Oatmeal w/Bacon." B)
  • This might actually be my mom's birthday gift
  • I think you mean: And this is what I found: http://flipbelt.com/ http://www.amazon.com/FlipBelt-Worlds-Running-Fitness-Workout/dp/B00GT388KG
  • I like fun shirts from Woot!* http://shirt.woot.com/offers/tomorrow-the-world * http://shirt.woot.com/offers/rule-no-1-cardio * http://shirt.woot.com/offers/some-motivation-required-olive-remix?ref=cnt_ctlg_dgn_5 And I am a big geek so ThinkGeek.com* https://www.thinkgeek.com/product/18c3/ (yes I know it's a sleep shirt…
  • No crunches, but I've done the luge mini game on the Wii Fit when I visit my BF. There's and ab killer!
  • I just try to go early morning or late at night. This has a 2 fold benefit: there are fewer people to be intimidated by and there are fewer people to compete with over who gets the squat rack next. However, I have had really good interactions for the most part with all the muscle in the gym. People are polite, ask it you…
  • 5. Needs re-calibration.
  • Yeah the stems with a veggie peeler.
  • Unless chocolate cake is a trigger food, have a small piece. If it is a trigger then give it a skip and try a hot chocolate. I can't have cookies in the house because "oh they are small" and therefore I just snag one every time i go into the kitchen and then I find myself subconsciously making an excuse to go to the…
  • I don't think anyone would want my old clothes. I wear them till things are thread bear and have been tacked, pinned, or otherwise altered. Broke law student...yay! However I do a lot of shopping at consignment shops. I refuse to buy fabulous new jeans at retail until I hit goal. Just an alternate idea in case you can't…
  • I use the ziplock divided rectangles. cottage cheese in one, fruit in another and a sandwich in the main.
