i think that they are supposedly good for working out due to the high protein content. beware of the calories. they count, no matter how you get them.

I see success in the fact that you were honest with yourself (logging the food) and took the time to blog about it. I always get into serious trouble when I eat unconsciously. I think you've at least moved beyond that.

I'm with you!! I never did a good job tracking calories in and out before. This site makes it so easy AND I have it on my droid, so no excuses. Having the visibility into the totaly picture of fitness and weight loss has ALREADY helped and I have only been on MFP for a week!

How is P90X working for you? My husband has the DVDs and says he likes the workouts but he doesn't have any weight to lose, he just uses them to get regular exercise. Have you noticed good weight loss with the workouts?

I have gotten some advice on this topic recently that I think is the best I've heard in years of dieting. Weigh yourself every Friday and Monday. Friday is the standard "weigh once per week" day. Adding weigh-in on Monday will keep you honest all weekend. :-)
