I have it and I love it. I wear it 24/7 except for when I shower. I've only had it for a few weeks so I'm still determining the accuracy of calorie burn for me.

- Loose/lose, it just annoys the heck out of me. - What the heck is up with the "fat burn zone"? I just don't understand it. - When people say "I'm only on 1,200 calories a day but I'm not losing any weight. Oh and I don't use scales I just eyeball my portions but I know my tracking is perfect." Ummmm... doooooubtful. - Or…

Omg I haven't had a Blizzard since high school. I used to love the brownie one. Now I really need to have one, ummmmm, for old time sake.

Hmmm extra strategies that have helped me... Prelogging. I'm super big on prelogging. I put in 90% of what I'm going to eat the day before and then shuffle things around as they happen. Maybe I swapped popcorn for pudding etc. Meal prep. This goes hand in hand with prelogging. I've really gotten into meal prepping for the…

Omg yeah, that machine is such a perv magnet!
-
And for those still confused, the proper name for the "yes/no" machine is the adductor/abductor machine. Yes/no because well, thighs open/ thighs closed *cough cough*

Ok so I keep side-eyeing CSA boxes because they seem so cool. Delivered boxes of farm fresh veg. It just seems so... wholesome. But then I have to try to be real with myself, so much of it would go bad because I get so lazy about cooking veggies. I'm really getting into frozen veggies (I used to ALWAYS buy fresh). That way…

It currently takes me about 45mins to 1 hour to get through my routine. But as my weights get heavier I'm sure it could end up stretching to 90 mins due to extended rest times. I'm basically in the camp of, it takes as long as it takes.

On Friday I had tapioca pudding as my preworkout and I had AWESOME pump that day. Yaaaaas carbs and sugar. Just one of those 100 cal snack packs.

Omg this reminds me from a scene in a movie where a large woman goes in to get her hair done and a stylist offers her a drink. Stylist 1 "Afternoon ma'am, can I offer you a cappuccino?" Customer "Oh no honey, I don't eat or drink nothing I can't spell." Stylist 2 "Well then you must be the spelling be champ!"

Here is my example. First is a high activity day, second is a low activity day. Can you imagine how hard it would be to estimate how much to eat day to day if I set myself at a higher activity level with negative adjustments enabled? Now, I start getting adjustments by the time I hit about 750 steps. That's because I work…

Yup. I sweat though not really overly much, where as my sister sweats a ton. She has always sweat about 2-3x as much as me. I also cool down really quickly. *shrug*

Ok all the store had was canned pumpkin so I grabbed butternut squash instead because they are cousins. Lol.
-
Speaking from only my personal experiences, setting it at sedentary when your activity is above that is only a problem if you're not eating back your calorie adjustments. When your activity varies wildly from day to day it can be easier to have a constant daily baseline plus eating UP, instead of dealing with negative…

Bahahaha! Almost died.

Haagen Dazs rocky road or cookie dough. I was never much of a cookie dough icecream lover but this specific one is incredible.

Ummm sorry, what now? A 500 calorie deficit triggers famine adaptation? Maybe not so much.
-
Yes I was quoting you. We are actually saying basically the same thing. Depending on her stats she very well COULD get an extra 1,300 cals a day. (Obviously not guaranteed). While it may not have been what you intended to say I confirmed this based on my stats and the calorie adjustments I am given on a regular basis. I am…

Sounds like a great day for something like tasks or pizza or maybe quesadillas. You could get some hefty calorie in with not a ton of volume.
-
Changing your goal to 0.5 makes no sense because your actually loss rate will STILL be off. Yes you'll be eating more calories but if you want to do that you could also simply adjust your calorie intake specifically up by 100-200 calorie a day under goals while leaving your rate goal set to 1lb loss. Try that for a month…

Yup, absolutely ridiculous. Curvy and hourglass are specific body types that exist pretty much no matter how much a woman weighs unless they become severely medically underweight and it drastically changes their body ratios. Right now at my heaviest I am fat. I am technically obese. I also have a 13" difference between my…

Omg. I've never really been a pumpkin person. I'm always the one that picks apple pie over pumpkin pie at the holidays, but I do like pumpkin, so I'm thinking that I might try pumpkin as a new side dish this week. Great timing, I was just sitting here thinking about what to try for this week's meal prep!

It sounds like you aren't eating back your exercise calories and or are underestimating your daily calorie burn. If you are set to lose 1lb/week but are losing 2/wk it means that your ACTUAL real life deficit is twice as large as what MFP set it to. Just eat more until you are actually losing the 1lb per week that you set…

I enjoy my regular exercise. So lifting weights and walking outside. But for super fun exercise I like dancing. Like all out, whip your hair, push yourself to the limit dancing.
-
And that works for you but obviously it doesn't work that way for everyone else. I add protein powder to all kinds of things in order to make my protein + calorie deficit + satiety balance out. That's just what I need to do for MY nutritional needs.
-
For me .2 has always turned out to be a truncated .25, I've never had MFP round up for me.
-
Well yeah, but some ppl are try to get their protein in where they can so they double up.
-
I tend to skip bead simply because of the volume/calorie payoff. High in calories but not filling enough. I would rather take a large tortilla shell and make a massive stuffed wrap. Just more satisfying to me.
-
Ok here is what I do, I take a HALF scoop of chocolate protein powder and add a bit of water, just enough to make it into a smooth paste. Then I take an individual pack of fruity Greek yogurt. Like the fruit on the bottom kind? I mix up the yogurt so that it's fruit throughout. (I say this because I know some people don't…

Ummm pretty sure I'm fat AND curvy.
