Best. Idea. Ever.

I don't think we are willfully confused so much as we just aren't really bothered by "good job" and choose to take it in a positive and inclusive light instead of negatively. I would have to really examine the tone of the comment before I chose to look at it as patronizing.

Ummm the point of working out for me is to increase cardiovascular health, endurance, muscle strength and body composition. I don't consider those things "nothing". Increase in caloric deficit is a bonus to me.
-
Bahaha, the other day my mom actually asked me if I thought she gave me the book to read to soon. Ummm no mom, you didn't. Lol.
-
But where's the "woo"? I came here expecting woo! I demand the wooooo! Hahahaha no seriously though this is awesome. Every time I see a "kickstart" post I just want to scream "Start! Just start! Punch in your stats, pick your deficit and just get on with your life!" It's so easy to drag our feet and never get started…

Lost enough inches to be able to order my first Under Armour gear! One of the first victories I have been looking forward to is being able to buy my next pair of workout pants at Under Armour instead of a plus size clothing store. I was able to get running capris AND two tank tops! (Praying my boobs fit in the tops).

I'm not an official preworkout person. I tend to just have a homemade protein bar an hour or 2 ahead of time if I feel I need a boost, but today I'm also having a cup of black coffee. (I'm not really a big coffee drinker).

Ummmm.... Canadian. Lol *Since we're talking about attitudes and freezing our *kitten* off, lol.
-
Yeah goat is so freakin expensive! And really hard to get around here.
-
Hellooooo other super friendly small town Canadian person! I don't know what you did today but *Hi5!* and great job, eh!

This is exactly how I am too! I'm baking like crazy and enjoying actually cooking all the time instead of just warming up something convenient. Last weekend I cooked an entire pork roast with roast veggies for myself to meal prep for this week. My husband was totally SOL, ha!

I don't hit complete any more. I did the first time I used MFP a few years back but I don't think time. Honestly all hitting complete does is give you that 5 week weightloss projection.

I don't have cheat days. I work what I want to eat into my daily calories. I have a lot of days where I'm short 50-100 cals so if a day comes up where I'm just SUPER hungry I add up the calories I was under for other days and use them as extra for the day. So say even if I eat up to maintenance that day I'm usually still…

I almost never eat mine back, but that's because I'm still gathering data. I need more time to examine my weightloss trend and see what rate I'm losing at. Then I'll take a look at my info and dial it in. May was just way too weird to base any decisions off of. I'm going to look at May along with June and then maybe July…

Inches melt off me like a snowman in summer. While the scale can be slower because I retain water so easily. I'm down 4 inches off my waist this month and I think 3 off my tummy. I'm an hourglass shape so when I work out and eat at deficit the weight doesn't want to stay there. Thighs move next slowly, then hips (because I…

Lol you're over complicating it. Don't worry, MFP and Fitbit sync it for you. Keep looking at MFP for how many calories to eat, the way you have been already.

Lots of ppl feel the fear, even if they've been to a gym before. Today I went to check out a new gym and the last couple of weeks I've been a bit afraid because it's a brand new place. I don't know anyone, don't know the facility layout, what if the patrons were jerks? Etc etc. But I went in there and just focused on…

Bahahaha it's so interesting to see everyone's differences. As shown in my previous post I'm so used to being spoken to when I'm out walking that if I'm not spoken to it's like this huge affront. Like if I smile and say good morning and the other person ignores me in my mind I'm like "Well *kitten* you too then buddy!"…

Hmmm my 1550 cal meal plan this week is Lunch: fruit Greek Yogurt mixed with Harvest Crunch cereal Dinner: orange glazed pork roast with roasted blended garden veggies Snack: homemade fudge protein bar Snack 2: chocolate protein cheesecake Breakfast: milk 2 go sport chocolate (post workout) I work graveyards so my schedule…

Yeah, don't manually enter exercise in MFP if your Fitbit is synced. Use MFP for food and Fitbit to log exercise. MFP will give you calorie credits from your Fitbit, you just won't get a pretty automated "I worked out" post.

Unsweetened Almond milk = using it in my high protein baking Chocolate Soy Milk = trying it in my chocolate milkshake style smoothies Chocolate Milk (cow) = Post workout I basically never just drink a cup of milk. But if I did it would be 2% cow milk.

I live in a mid sized Canadian city and when I go out for my walk around the island park we say "good morning" to basically every single walker, runner or cyclist that passes you in the opposite direction. I've never gotten a "good job". But I have gotten a few "you made really good time!" Because when you walk opposite…

YUM!!!

I just made a roast and veggies to meal prep for my week. I built it as 6 servings and I'm splitting it up as 6 servings, done and done. It's not about a 1oz portion to me it's about a serving amounts when I build recipes. So today my raw roast came in at 55.31oz. I weigh out every ingredient in the recipe then add it,…

HipHop Abs and Brazillian Butt Lift for the win! Beachbody videos are so fun!

Oh man, I have an entire cardio workout playlist that I've started building, but I have to say that this week nothing has got me started faster than "M.I.L.F $" by Fergie.

Walking (will eventually start running again), weightlifting, dancing, and some calisthenics.

Yup, I took jazz and ballet growing up. I loved dance and was always one of the best in my class but one of the first things I learned from my ballet teacher was that no matter how good I was I would never be a professional ballet dancer because my height and body structure took me out of the running. No professional…

I'm definitely a larger framed person. I mean don't get me wrong, right now I'm just overweight. But I'm also larger framed and broad shouldered. I'm also really curvy, so even at a firm 160 i still have J-K cup, lol that adds a couple of pounds. But yeah a lot of times ppl do mistake overweight for "big boned", especially…

I had a 4,000 TDEE according to Fitbit yesterday. I was all about the cardio yesterday.
