Exactly. Yesterday I really wanted tacos, I haven't had them in ages and suddenly really wanted them, in the end I decided to skip beef and try shrimp tacos for the first time. Have a go at something new. So I used the recipe builder to create these amazing spicy shrimp tacos. Three tacos came to 421 calories. Today I'm…

Basically the exact same way as days. I work 9:30pm-7:30am. This is how I fill out the diary. My diary is rolling but it balances the same. So i go into work on the calendar date of June 2. After I wake up the first meal I eat gets logged under "lunch". June 2nd Lunch 9pm June 2nd Dinner 12am June 2nd Snack 3am June 2nd…

Ha! Yes, weights/farm girl for the win. When I was 180 ppl tended to guess about 140. That's why I'm making sure to lift heavy weights through my entire weight loss journey. Gotta keep that lean muscle mass!
-
If you were in the service you were also probably pretty fit though. If you're 180 and doing PT every morning it's MUCH different than being 180 with a high boy fat percentage. I'm a 5'7 female and when I came back from my summer at RMC (the Royal Military College of. Canada) my mom said "forget the mattress, you could…

Fitbit: Charge 2. In completely addicted to it now.
-
I just try to fit things I like into my day.

This is exactly why it's not working. Your overestimating your serving sizes. You can crab a kitchen scale like $20 at Walmart or Amazon.
-
No it really will do it automatically because it has done it automatically for me. I just can't remember which weight update you need to use for it to trigger it because there are 3 different places you can put in your current weight and I think only one triggers the calorie drop.
-
No it will do it automatically for you. I know that in the app there are multiple places for you to put in your current progress weight. Home, progress and goals. And I think if you update your current weight under either progress or goals it does the auto adjustment for you. Sorry I can't remember which one, I just wanted…

Popcorn. I love the 100 calorie individual bags of microwave popcorn. I don't really crave salt. I actually try to keep my sodium lower because that's just a need for me. But if I'm craving something not sweet or fatty or whatever then yeah, popcorn.

I had an analog scale for a few years and when I finally got my digital scale it was like angels singing, but that's just me. The digital scale just made me happy. No bouncing needle, no "is this calibrated? Did it actually start on zero?" No tilting side to side to see which line the needle is actually on. Ugh, it was…

I can retain up to... wait for it... 10 POUNDS! No joke. I can EASILY gain 2-3 inches on my waist and tummy for the week. On the upside, many women also get a metabolism boost during this time which is why we can get extra hungry and want to eat everything in sight. I find that if I ignore the need to eat all the food in…

As a recovering eating disorder sufferer I can quite easily say "it's mental" while still understanding what people like you and the OP is going through. Just because many people say "it's mental" it doesn't mean it's not still complex. But a lot of it IS mental. It's quite possible that the OP is a volume eater. If she's…

I've been playing with the recipe and my latest attempt was 1/4 cup applesauce which was nice. 1/2 cup was a bit too moist, like wet. At the moment I only have volume measurements for applesauce I didn't weigh it because I was feeling lazy and just wanted to deal with the serving fractions without conversion. Banana is on…

I have to be careful with my salt intake. I retain water super easily which is more annoying than a health risk. But on the health side too much salt and I feel INSANELY ill. Like, a V8 will knock me on my butt.

*hi5!* I'm right there with you! I've wanted to visit Scotland since I first read Outlander when I was 12 years old.

Just a note. Cheese curds are an unbelievably delicious form of cheese. It's what we use to make proper Poutine up here is Canada. Once it's melted it's super gooey stringy. Like on those pizza commercials when they pull a slice away and the cheese stretches forever.

This. The fact that they are pure fibre (the original noodles not the tofu added kind) is what I love about them. I love huge pasta dishes, so this is a great way to have a big bowl of noodles without blowing all your calories. You can load up on meat, sauce, veggies and cheese because the pasta portion is a total freebie.

And not to threadjack but if any of you live in the west Dunbartonshire area, Balloch/Alexandria area and know of a gym where I can lift weights will you please post it? Because I'm going to be in that area of Scotland (Balloch) for a month next year and Google is giving me nothing. Thanks! And hello from Canada!

Ok about to start my shift so this will be fast. Dump noodles on strainer and rinse with hot water to remove fish smell. Put in pot and boil for a few minutes. Dump into on and dry fry to remove excess moisture. Then use as desired. I like making Italian style pastas as well as of Thai.

Ok so I made one for breakfast this morning. Am eating it as my post workout but I think I'm only going to get through half. The whole thing clocks in around 267 cals. I think I over cooked it, I wouldn't mind it a bit more moist so I won't cook it as long next time. It's yummy though. As is I kind of want to smear some…

Oh man that's gym heaven. My last gym was 24 hours so I could go at 2am on the weekends and have it to myself. The new place I'm checking out closes at 11pm and is apparently really popular, so I dont know if I will ever have it to myself.

Hmmm that's such a bummer. I'd rather have something that tastes really good so I'll keep playing with the recipe. I don't have plain protein shakes e.g. Protein + water. I make protein smoothies, so I never have a problem with them being filling. So what I'm trying to find is delicious high protein desserts.
-
Omg! This is next on my dessert recipe list to try. I'm down to my last few slices of protein cheesecake. Can't wait to do protein mug cake! Nom nom nom!
-
Yup. That's why I've decided to never by Lululemon. When the CEO was running around fat bashing women I was like, "Ummmm nope!" So they don't get my money no matter what size I am.

When I started this time around (30 days ago) I was TERRIFIED to step on the scale. I was positive. POS-IT-IVE that I was 10-30lbs higher than when I tried to lose weight but bombed last September. (My birthday was in the second week and I fell off the wagon and never got back on). Turns out I was almost the exact same…

"Good love. For you it's good love. For me it's gooood enough! Good enough for meee, aye yiy yiy yiy yiiiiiiiiy!" Hahaha, awww I love the Goonies. As for leggings. I wear these great reversible sports leggings that are definitely thicker and completely squat proof. When I'm down a couple of sizes there is a pair of under…

My grocery store no longer stocks Skinny Cow icecream. I'm so sad. I'm going to check out the one a little farther away because I love the icecream sandwiches.

Totally agree with everything above. Also, meal prep can be really helpful. Prelog everything you're going to eat a day ahead of time and work treats into your day. For example, I make my own homemade protein bars which are delicious and gooey and fudgy. They come in around 250 calories and I usually have one as my 3am…

Lol ok this sounds much more reassuring. I've had my Charge 2 for two days now and I'm already slightly addicted to the info. I was using just the app with the pedometer on my phone for a few weeks and I'm just absolutely loving having a wearable now.
