Did you contract space worms that jazzercized your muscles from the inside?

I’m also going to say that I really depends how far along in your recovery you are. People that have suffered from eating disorders are always considered “recovering” in the same way that former alcoholics are always considered “recovering”. So for me, in my early 20s it was WAY too early for me to count calories because…

I am literally dancing while I write this response on my phone. I throw on Netflix on my computer or the tv, then I throw on my high energy dance playlist on my phone, and track my workout on my Fitbit. The tv is for entertainment and the music is just to help me keep the beat while I watch tv. Can EASILY go for two hours…

This is the stupidest thing I’ve heard of all morning.

I’ve never tried the non-dairy ones. We just got them in Canada and I’m LOVING the ones I’ve tried. Caramel Macchiato, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Mint Chocolate Chip. Ive got my eye on Cookies and Cream next.

I’ve belonged to two gyms and I’ve never seen this. Ever. Honestly, my current gym is downright friendly. People get chatty and complimentary.

Pre-log! Or log as I go in party situations.

Maybe try Addition Elle?

Yup, eat them back. An exercise tracker, like a FitBit, is really great for helping you figure out your burn. Of course you can also track within MFP as well, I just find a separate but linked tracker more accurate.

I’ve decided that people need to learn that “No means no” in ALL situations. I completely agree with the above poster. My body, my choice. I’m not going to eat or drink booze just to make YOU happy. Going against societal norms of “gatherings” makes people REALLY uncomfortable. So they push and push and push no matter how…

This thread makes me so happy.

Meat. SOOOOOO much meat! Grass fed, free ranged meat that got daily massages and yoga classes and was sung a sweet lullaby before it was dispatched. And ALL THE SEAFOOD. And now that it’s come to Canada, (YAY!) a deep freeze just stuffed full of Halo Top.

Coke Zero is my go to 0 calorie “sweet” drink. I drink it pretty much every single day. I was drinking it during my workout this morning. It’s definitely 1 calorie. My tracking to weight loss is right on track.

I weigh daily, twice a day. But that really helps me with certain data points that I’m looking for. I think that daily once a day would be a good way for most people to get good weight trend data.

Clothes. My reward is buying a few clothing items in my new size. I mean sure, I would need to buy the clothes anyway. BUT I make it a reward by not allowing myself to shop randomly. I can shop for workout clothes and every day clothes ONCE when I hit a new smaller size, and then can’t shop again until I’m another size…

Stand up, turn on music and dance in place with lots of stepping motion. It takes me about 2 hours of this to hit 10K steps.

Sometimes. I love to cook, so I do most things from scratch. But there are some things I just can’t be bothered to do. Lasagna. If I want lasagna for the week I’ll just buy a large frozen one, cook it, portion it out and BAM meal prep for the work week is mostly done. Or sometimes I want macaroni as one of my sides. So I…

If I’m not hungry then I don’t bother to eat. My appetite can be pretty fluid where it just bumps along like a flat line and the I go super not hungry and might have a day or two of super low calorie days and then back to normal and then a couple of days where I’m super hungry so I eat over calories a bit and it basically…

I love them, you just have to prepare them properly. It’s basically just straight fiber. Perfectly healthy for you. It just seems new and amazing to Western culture. Amazing in Asian style noodle dishes. People get really disappointed that they don’t taste like flour style pasta but that’s just not really how they’re meant…

I love Betty White, she needs to live forever.

Don’t stop eating food you like just make it fit your day. You’re leaving 300 yummy cals on the table every day. Eat some chocolate. Eat some bacon. Eat some cheese or something.
-
I mean... does it fit your calories? I eat massive salads. My dinners this week (I preplan) are bbq Caesar salad (the meat I throw on varies between pork or chicken but I use about 10oz) and come in just under 800 calories. It’s delicious, filling and easy. If it fits your calories just eat it a don’t freak out.

Post New Years I was up like, 12lb and now a week later I’m down about 8lb with 4lb more to drop. I retain water weight like CRAZY which is why seeing such a high number didn’t make me blink an eye. It’s also why when I get there, my maintenance range will be about 10-15lb up and 5lb down because a high sodium meal can…

Yesterday I ran for 5km straight! I didn’t slow down to walk at all. I’m still so excited.

I keep it in my pants pocket. I wear under Armour Fly-Bys. The pocket is sleek but it still fits my phone and keys and debit card, ID, etc without being bulgy.

WOOOO!!! PREACH!!!

Also, you can fiddle with your macros all you like, it just starts you out there. But if you know you feel better with higher protein, higher carb, lower fat, or super high carb, mid fat, mid protein (maybe you run a ton and are just starving for carbs?), or whatever macro blend fits your lifestyle, you can do whatever you…

Drinking it right now, so yay. Actually I usually drink high protein chocolate milk, but today I’m drinking regular chocolate milk. *the high protein chocolate milk is 26g of protein I think. 200 cals? For the whole bottle. It’s Canadian and made with real milk. I can’t eat heavy after I work out or I want to barf, so high…

Worst effing advice EVER. This is the kind of thinking that leads to “You were raped? What were you wearing? How short was your skirt?” Fail. She came here to ask for advice and HELP because she was out of ideas. *OP, don’t you DARE dress down or try to make yourself look like less than you are out of fear. You can’t live…
