i also have PCOS with insulin resistance, your doctor is right only low carb will work. the default setting on MFP for carbs is 55%, i have mine set to 35% which gives me 30 - 40 grams for every meal. the most weight loss i had on any diet is Atkins but i cant do it for more then a month because it is extremely hard for me…

i don't think there is anything to worry about eating less then 1000, i take 3 proper meals a day, each meal is around 300.

I started this month, i also need to lose 100+ lbs.

Hi i am eating less then 1000 per day, 1200 is the amount MFP suggested but my diet is mostly proteins. So far i have lost 11lbs in 2 weeks.
