I work out on an elliptical 5 days/week. I find I become hungrier doing this, so I eat the burned off calories. The calculator has already reduced your calories for weight loss, and exercising builds muscles, which burn more fat and faster, so you're not putting yourself behind by eating them.

Oatmeal is a breakfast staple for me. 1/3 cup Quaker quick oats plus double the water, bring to a boil, lower heat and cook 5 mins. I eat it with a single portion (100g) of fruit yogurt - different flavour every day, and maybe a Tbsp. of sliced almonds to up the protein. Holds me for 4 hours and is only about 150 calories!

Have you checked out beans and legumes? A half cup of Kidney beans is 8 grams of protein, 7 grams of fibre and only 100 calories. Refried beans are similar.They work to fill you up so you're not battling cravings, too!
