OMG I feel you. I have a size 9 ring and 11 shoe too. I was about 140 in high school but still wearing a size 13/15 and thinking I was super fat because of it... glad I'm not alone in the "big boned" category :)

It's true that most restaurant portions in the US are out of control huge. But at least for me, I've never expected them to be single-serving. I don't think I've ever eaten an entire portion of something I was served in a restaurant, ever. Unless it was upscale or a small plate. Most people I know have this mentality too.…

Probably around 2500 on average. My maintenance right now is 2100 so it was enough to see a gradual gain. Currently eating 1500 without much issue.... just had to stop eating entire pizzas or packages of cookies ;)

This could be something called selective eating disorder. Yes, this is a real thing, and my fiancee has it. It's not as easy as just "getting over it", it cam involve years of therapy. My fiancee would get physically ill from certain foods, smells and textures. To the point where she would rather starve than eat them.

I make roasted chicken with red potatoes and carrots in the oven w/white wine and rosemary. It tastes like comfort food but is only 400cals for dinner!

I do 1500 and it's really not too bad. Most of the hunger pains faded after the first week or so. Now I barely get hungry and my cravings have greatly subsided.

Haha I can share this sentiment! Though I've considered going on BC to help control my long, painful periods... but after reading threads like this, I'll just suffer for 1 week per month.
