two words: dance and mat. you can buy one for your PC for about £10 from eBay (here in the UK at least)

There was research done that I can't be bothered to find that showed your metabolism increased the most after you ate in the morning (and every meal subsequently caused a metabolism spike, but smaller and smaller as the day went on). I guess it makes you hungry because you're burning more? It's a struggle, but I'm trying…

I actually cheat *every* day - I just eat less of my cheat foods than before! It's the best way for me, because I find if I cheat by a huge amount my stomach stretches or something so I want that much food every day! I've heard that if you stop eating "bad" foods then you stop craving them, so I'm trying to wean myself off…

The popcorn is the kind for popping at home, so yeah it'll be air popped and plain. The croissants are a treat, sausages and lamb are for low calorie easy protein (I have a lot of fish already) but it's not the best, I know :P What's wrong with corn on the cob, though? Thanks for the tip on the almond milk, but it's like…

exactly what I was going to say...mmm

That is true, and I did say that BMI wasn't a perfect measure. It doesn't change the fact that the medical term "obese" applies to someone with a BMI over 30. I think the point I was trying to make is that she looks a little wobbly, and if she were to continue the good behaviours that got her to that 180lb point from 300lb…

OH and have some more pictures of (in my opinion) hot bodies: Scarlett <3 Abby

Amen sister.:drinker: [/quote] We didn't use the word "fat", we used the medical terms "obese" and "overweight" which are definitive. This woman IS either medically "obese" or "overweight". You can't dispute that because she fits into the definition. I personally wasn't bashing your goal, but I think people are trying to…
-
I don't think she'd even be "overweight", I think she'd be "obese". I know BMI isn't everything, but she'd only have to weigh 185lbs (at 5'6'') to be considered "obese" by the medical profession.

What's your economy looking like, then? (http://finance.yahoo.com/blogs/daily-ticker/u-economy-could-stay-pretty-miserable-another-5-141250584.html) What's Sweden's economy looking like, then? (http://www.economist.com/node/18805503)

That's fine. I was talking to people who think you should pay nothing.

If half of Americans aren't earning enough to live on, then I would say it's extremely fair. If you took money from them in your proposed 'flat tax', they might starve to death or lose their homes. If you've got enough money to at least HELP prevent that happening, why wouldn't you?
-
Not sure where you're going with this, but the Scandinavian countries have extremely high taxes but they also live extremely long lives, have a great natural environment, free education (including Masters degres), great healthcare, low re-offence rates in their prison system AND continually score highest on "happy country"…

Hello, I'm right-wing and I hate my fellow human beings so much that I want to keep ALL my money to myself instead of helping them out. Tax-funded things don't take ALL your "hard-earned" cash. They take a proportion of it dependent on how much you earn.

There are a huge number of sexualities and sexual preferences besides homosexual and heterosexual. There are a huge number of reasons that one wouldn't want to have sex or be single, none of which are wrong or right. However, not having a desire or curiosity into that matter could mean that you're asexual (and asexual…

I'm 22, 5'5'' and I want to lose about 30lbs :) Feel free to add me...no baby weight here.

Also I don't know what you're all getting so uppity about doing four hours of exercise for - she's not talking about doing 4 hours at the gym solid. I easily do about 2 hours of 'exercise' every day (with no rest days) and I don't have a lot of spare time, just walking around and maybe playing a game or something. Think…

I would go geocaching for 2 hours or so (hiking, walking, biking, whatever...just have to find those caches!) probably twice a week, three times if I could be bothered to go further to find stuff. I would also go kayaking for an hour or two maybe three times a week (although I would probably choose sailing over kayaking…

Grapefruits are actually highly beneficial in curing stomach ulcers...

I think I love you.

Haha, amazing. I think I hate this stupid starvation mode myth more than any of the others.

To be fair, we don't have to drive quite as far ^_^

Holy moly! I actually was considering moving to the US (I work online and get paid in dollars anyway) and I feel like I could live like a *king*! And I looked for normal jobs and they don't even pay much less than the ones here in the UK so you must all have SO MUCH SPARE CASH (comparably)!!! Although free healthcare is a…

Is that per gallon? I just worked mine out in dollars and ours is three times as much :/

It's £6.62 a gallon for petrol where I live ($10.62)

Strawberries are like, £2 ($3.21) a punnet pretty much everywhere McDonalds cheeseburger is £1.29 ($2.07) There's a place round here where you can get a steak (8oz I think), chips (fries) and a drink for £7.25 ($11.64) but that's the cheapest I've seen it, elsewhere you'd usually pay about £12 ($19.26) just for the steak &…

It might really help you to work out whether you are addicted to chocolate (cacao) or the sugar...if you're addicted to CHOCOLATE then you can have yourself some nice 80% dark chocolate which is pretty good for you in small doses.
