Nah, although I do not eat pizza as much as I used to
-
I don't really subscribe to the whole "healthy food" stuff, I buy what I can afford at the store!!!
-
OK guys! How was your diet and exercise yesterday? I killed a butt workout but I'm really sore today
-
Yay! I'm glad I'm not alone :) Just fill in your weight, your goal by V-Day and your ultimate goal weight if you like then we all know where we're headed!

A good day for me is about 70g of protein, but it can be as low as 30-40g. I've actually found this sliced meat stuff in the shop downstairs which gives me loads of protein without much fat that I *really* enjoy eating, so hopefully that can help me a little here.

Hey hey! This sounds like fun! Name: Harriet Age: 25 Height: 166cm OR 5'5.5'' whichever you prefer Start weight (1st Feb): 67kg (148lbs) Goal weight (1st March): 62kg (137lbs)

I didn't do this challenge BUT cut down my alcohol consumption pretty dramatically (usually would drink maybe 14 days out of the month, this month it's been maybe 3-4) and I've lost 5kg haha!
-
OK thank you! I'm just not sure where I can get more protein from without getting powders which are expensive here in Poland!
-
any recommendations of what % it should be? see the post above
-
My range before was 40% carbs and 30% each of fat and protein, do you think 30% carbs and 35% each of fat and protein would work better?

It's so frustrating when this happens! People are definitely going to tell you to eat more, but I hate it when they do that because I always think "if it was impossible to lose weight eating this little, then models wouldn't be so thin". Having said that, I definitely think you need to make sure you're not snacking on…

cool, thanks everyone! I'm just a beginner anyhow so I guess for now bodyweight is fine, I have some small dumbbells but not really sure how much I could do with the barbell anyway haha! I think when I move to a more permanent apartment I'll try and get a kettlebell and some heavier weights and then put them in storage…

running on a regular or semi-regular basis

Oh yeah, and hit up Polish or Asian food shops for some stuff, they're surprisingly cheap.

Lidl/Aldi for meat, market for fruit and veges and Morrison's/ASDA for everything else :)
-
I have resistance bands! I don't really use them, but do you think they'll be enough? :)
-
I know, it's been 2-3 jobs for 3 years and I still have to take one of them with me, but I'm lucky that I could get those jobs! WALK RUN WALK!
-
YES! I forgot about hills. I also assume I'll be walking around 6-8 miles a day anyway, so that will ALL help

I knew this was coming as soon as I read that...

I found it more offensive that she was banging on about how "big" she was when she's pretty much just a normal size. I would even call her thin if we bear in mind the fact that people do look bigger on camera.

I didn't say anything about the U.S. medical system (only the legal system), in fact I was referring to India (which is where I'm from) although perhaps I should have made that clearer. Although, hypocritically you presume to know a lot about the European medical system. I've been prescribed medicine for off-label usage in…

I don't think this applies to doctors outside of North America, it's very, very, very rare that a European doctor would be subject to a malpractice suit. And I don't think it's "pretending to know more than they do", I think it's just no-one is perfect INCLUDING doctors...they do know this. Human error is a part of all…
-
Yeah, but the benefit of seeing a doctor is that they can see the whole picture. Taking a 45 hour nutrition course may inform you about some stuff, but last time I saw the syllabus for one of those a few of those hours covered anatomy and physiology and gastric hormones and peptides, which wouldn't be in a nutrition course…

Agree with ^. There's no point tracking your calorie intake if you're already told exactly what to eat by a book. There's no point tracking exercise calories because you shouldn't be exercising if you're only eating 8-900 calories of protein a day.

I'm from the UK so I won't be running or doing bootcamp classes there! Unfortunately I don't think a class in another country is the way to go, just because I won't understand what they're telling me. I am just wondering about doing pilates-style and the things you recommended outside in campsites or even just in the park,…

It's a tough one between pizza and beer.
