I've actually read that book as well, it was at my mom's house and I found it very interesting. Although I don't follow it, the science behind it totally makes sense. Humans have been changing and evolving- and the foods that are available for consumption have evolved as well. I like how the book explained that certain…

I'm 5'9 and have slowly learned that my body likes to be around 152-158 (allowing cheat days, working out 3ish times a week). I'm currently a size 6, 154 lbs (but sizes don't really mean a thing....some store I'm a 4, some I'm an 11!) Anyway, I've gotten down to 143 before but I was working out like a fiend, and couldn't…

I'm also a WW drop-out! I did WW and LOVED the momentum plan, but was GAINING with this new plan. I love MFP. Welcome!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for posting that! I always get discouraged if I go over my calorie goal (like last night, heh), and get down on myself. I love the perspective you have!

I buy flavored coffee (french vanilla, chocolate, hazelnut), and add 1 tsp of fat free half and half (10 cals), and a little bit of stevia (natural sweetener). You could use Splenda or another kind, too! :)

I'm also from NC- the eastern part! Welcome!

I discontinued my WW subscription and switched to tracking on here. The new plan did not work for me, and I didn't want to have to pay for something I had to tweak myself. I will also add that I read somewhere that WW changed the plan so people would lose weight more slowly- therefore needing to be members longer=more $.…

I do! I input my meals the night before. Works for me!

Typically 5-6 days a week, depending on how my body feels. 2-3 days is weight training, the other is cardio/pilates, etc. I pack my gym bag and go straight from work (and pick up a cup of coffee for energy if I need it!) Also..I TOTALLY know what you mean about a crazy school schedule- I'm in school full time and working…

I LOVE BodyRock! LOVE LOVE LOVE! :)

I would LOVE to have fresh eggs as often as you get them! Eggs are a healthy way to get proteins and fats...if it's been working for you, I wouldn't change it! Perhaps you can alternate eating the whole egg and egg whites to lower calories. I usually give a yolk or two to my dog (they are good for a canine's skin and…

I have a Polar F6 and have been using it for almost 2 years. I've never had an issue with it- typically my HRM measures LOWER than what the cardio machines at the gym say....does yours have a chest strap? If so, I would take what it says for truth. Maybe just double-check your stats and make sure they are accurate. Also,…

I would check out www.BodyRock.tv- There are great, quick, high-intensity workouts on there that you can do at home. It would require a timer, but any watch or clock can serve as that. Good luck!

You've already done what I would advise you to do- get right back on track with eating right and exercising. Don't beat yourself up about it- we are human, after all! Besides, stress causes belly fat :)

I like Sun Warrior protein powder, I use vanilla. It's vegan protein and it tastes great. Good luck!

Thanks everybody! Y'all are the best!

What kind of food scale do you use? I think it's about time I invested in one!

First, I want to say you are SO BRAVE for sharing this with us. Anxiety is a very real concern for millions of people, and oftentimes we think that 'Oh, it's just me" or that we are just overreacting. Next, I want to state that our state of mind really influences how we eat. Stress obviously is a trigger for you (and for…

Thanks everybody! I was very nervous to cancel my membership to the "other" program because of the accountability the online tracker gave. I found myfitnesspal and LOVE that there is an app for my iphone as well as web tracking. I have run into one thing already though- is there a way to enter the name of an exercise along…
