Love these challenges. I am in! :)
-
Only did 100, but I also did P90X Core Synergistics so I feel like I did a good amount of working out! Will do the other 50 tonight :)

I'm down! We got this!

Brown the turkey in a pan, throw it in a crock pot with some diced tomatoes, beans, onions and chili seasoning. Makes such a yummy chili with low fat sour cream :)

The value of a calorie is different for me between healthy foods and "bad" foods. I can eat a ton of fruit and be totally full for the same amount of calories it would have been to eat a slice of pizza (which doesn't leave me feeling full).

I recently just completed a Hot Yoga 30 Day Challenge where I went to hot yoga every day for 30 days in a row. I was really expecting to see some body changes (especially since I was sweating my butt off in a 105 degree room for 100 minutes a day!). After the 30 days, nothing really changed. I was a bit stronger and…

Thanks guys! This is so motivating. Can't wait until the results start coming in!

Thanks for the tips guys! Congrats on your weight losses as well! I think I may bump up to 1400 cals and see how I feel there. MFP and P90X nutrition guidelines vary so much that it is confusing to know which route to take. I guess I'll just continue to see how my body feels. And Tangal, I threw my scale in the back of the…

To be honest, I've been pretty confused with the whole calorie intake while on P90X. I was always a firm believer in eating back my exercise calories, but multiple Beachbody coaches on this site have told me to eat 1200! It seems very low to me, but I figure they are the experts? The P90X official nutrition guide told me…

You go girl! Thinspiration :)

This is amazing!!!!! I am doing P90X as well right now, but am not getting results like this unfortunately. Are you doing the 50/30/20 fat shredder diet?
-
Hahaha this just inspired me. Oddly when of the best compliments I have gotten in a while! See you after P90X is finished :tongue:
-
@Solarpower... oh it's you again :wink: I give you a 9.5!
-
@SolarPower- 25, nice pecs! :flowerforyou:
-
@Tara- 8.5 , love your smile and your hair cut!!!

Nine months ago, I was tailgating at my university's games while chugging beers and eating late-night pizzas. I had gained weight the summer before, but I was now just finally starting to realize how big I had gotten. I was living an unhealthy and unhappy life. It's taken me a couple months after that to start doing…

Goat cheese!! So creamy and yummy, plus healthier than other types of cheeses!

I get all my dinner recipes from eatingwell.com. These dinners are seriously DELICIOUS! You always know the amount of calories in each serving, and they're usually already logged as food entries on MFP. Just look up one that looks yummy, cook and enjoy. You won't regret it!

Try eating a lot more protein than carbs! I am on the P90X Fat Shredder diet, which is 50% protein, 30% carbs and 20% fats. The weight is melting off!

Thanks for the information, DanaBrash!!!

I am on Week One, Day Four of P90X. But I am not feeling as sore as I think I should! Am I doing it wrong!? I did Shoulders, Arms and Ab Ripper Yesterday (used 10 pound weights for the Arm DVDs.) Any thoughts?!

Genius.

^^HILARIOUS!

I should clarify haha. 6 P.M. is my workout. Pretty normal time I feel.
-
I work full time so I am out of the house from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., so I usually try to get in my work out at 6. I understand that they pay their rent and may want some quiet time, but the way they handled it is immature and rude to me. ESPECIALLY when they have crazy parties into the wee hours of the night (when I have…

Shoulder stands are a core workout! Bend your knees so they are really close to your butt, then gently use your hands (but mainly your abs) to curl yourself up! Then put your hands on your back to support yourself. I did hot yoga, and it took me a couple of days to get to this point, but it's totally doable once you did it…

I reduced mine to 2000. I thought 2500 was way too much!
-
Thanks everyone for the kind words of encouragement! With all the support from MFP and my determination, I feel unstoppable!

Thank you!!

Body wraps only help you lose water weight- which is temporary. Not worth the money in my opinion, but if you have a big event coming up and you want a quick fix, it may be worth it!
