For me it depends on the intensity of the workout. I usually prefer like a small snack like a dried fruit and nut mix, granola, or some greek yogurt.

I like to buy fresh fruit like cantalope and honeydew melon. I also like to buy granola and wasabi peas. My absolute fav snack is steam-bag edamame (soybean) because it has a nutty flavor like a boiled peanut

Eat more foods high in protein because they keep you full and your body stores it as energy instead of fat.
